Sometimes they’re right about leaving your comfort zone.
Yeah, maybe that is the rule, and logically you know riles should be followed. But then you gotta get meta with it and ask WHY was that rule put in place? Is it for safety? Or is it to maintain control? WHO does the rule affect and how does it affect them? Is it targeting people who pose a real threat? Or is it a rule made in the 1800s meant to target a minority? If the rule is meant to protect, does it actually do so?
Sometimes you just want to keep everything easy by following the rules. And especially in autistic individuals (note: speaking from experience, one size does not fit all), it may be what your brain tells you to do. Breaking a rule is wrong. You gotta leave the comfort zone a bit
