March 23, 2020 Had my first online midterm today. Save to say the change was brutal. I was frantically scanning in the end and double checking to make sure it was submitted.... I think these online midterms stress me out more than in person ones to... I am dreading finals now. My desk was pretty clear for about 2 hours and the hoards of plants eventually moved back in to take over. As cluttered as it appears, it was soothing to look after them all after everything was submitted. So part of the engineering undergraduate degree is completing a project in a course called “Capstone.” This is an 8 month long project split into 2 4-month sections that is supposed to teach you team dynamics, proper documentation, and the process for prototyping. We filed an email explaining that although the project works, for demonstration purposes we would need to be in the lab and had expressed concern in regards to being exposed to an unsanitized environment. As expected the email was entirely unaddressed... I guess my team is doomed to get this virus?
