01.11.2021 - How is it November?! Anyway I'm trying a new format for these posts, we'll see how it goes...

9:00: I'm trying a more structured day today to see it it'll help with my productivity because I have SO MUCH to do this week: proposal, a new essay to start, intense seminar prep, etc. Plus I have a minibreak in Bath this weekend! But this morning I'm focusing on getting my proposal fully drafted and sorting out my readings for this week's seminar.

13:30: today started strong as I crossed most of my todo list off... Then my uni did a series of things that pissed me off so I'm going for an extended break because I'm not in the mood to continue working. I'll just have to redo anything I "do" in this mood - I'll be sending a series of angry emails first though!

16:30: I did manage to go back to work after an extended lunch break... I'm still fuming with my uni but I have so much to do that I can't just lose an afternoon!

Anyway I did manage to come up with an essay topic for my themes in early modern history essay, and finished part of my seminar prep. The rest will have to wait for tomorrow now because I'm exhausted.

Currently reading: The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie (I know... I should finish today though!); Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray
