You reignited the anger I have at the Bleach plot. Ichigo is hands down my fav anime character. And I absolutely hated how that arc finished. And the fucking fact he was left alone ALONE (jfc smh at the so called friends) after he sacrificed 2/3 of his soul left me foaming at the mouth. And female Ichigo feels so much more tragic at the power gain and loss, the abandonment of her friends, and the caved out portion of her soul. Ugh okay I need to stop or I will never stop ranting. Luv u Ray!

Ahhhh means I’m doing the good works then cause pretty much fuck the entire way that arc finished.

I was so goddamn mad so of course that leaked over into the angst that is First Protector.

What frames do you use?

I get the very cheap kind from AC Moore (literally, the most expensive one was five dollars).  They’re not exactly the nicest, but they’re just in my room where only I have to look at them, so that’s not a big deal.  I probably spent 35 bucks total on all the frames?

full disclosure:  the first couple episodes i was kinda like meh, the protag is sort of too much of a boring golden boy and the way the bestfriend/sidekick is just the butt of all the jokes is way overboard.  BUT it gets really good, the dialogue is funny, the sidekicks get a lot of development, and the villains are really neat, esp in the second half of the first season.  and as @haikujitsu put it when i first started watching, the show is less about the protag struggling with himself and more with the completely impossible tasks he’s faced with.

anyway, if you liked Danny Phantom, you’ll like Trollhunters.  

There’s currently two seasons on netflix, and the first season is kind of two in one (26 episodes, 2 major arcs).

Awww, thank you! It’s nice to be reminded I do have readers who like my content lol.

It can just be frustrating? Even when the competition is big, zine rejections can still sting, especially if it’s one you really want to participate in.

A part of me still believes that Danzo got rid of the messenger. But Hiruzen was aware but played the fool. Konoha was at war and it was either his soldiers or a village that have been allies since their foundation. He took the cowards route. I feel that’s why he indulged Naruto’s chaos.

I did consider Danzou having played a part (maybe because Uzushio was getting too strong, etc.), and I really doubt Hiruzen was so completely unaware of all the things going under his nose (Danzou manufacturing Uzu’s destruction, then Massacre, etc.) so yeah, he probably knew or at least suspected. Although a larger part of why he indulged Naruto was because the kid was both a kid and his Minato and Kushina’s son, and he knows the village treats him like trash, and that’s at least partly his fault.
