I do declare...
I officially declared!!! Although nothing ever is set in stone, I did something that puts me one step closer to my goal (kinda?) So the dream is med school, but I have opted to not tell people (yet...) at uni bc...idk im kinda self conscious and dont want people being extra critical of me...im scared of judgement so yeah...also people then start getting all "its rlly hard...like RLLY hard" and im like, "i know BRENDA thx for the heads up..." passive aggressiveness aside, i also dont fit the cookie cutter mold, nor do i rlly want to. i always thought i had to follow the crowd, major in neuro and do lab research and the truth is, thats not the case. I met some rlly colorful people this summer at work and it made me finally realize that happiness wont come after, it should be during. So im gonna start doing things that make me happy while i achieve my goals. That doesnt mean i wont be stressed out, it just means that i will hopefully look fondly back at most of these times instead of just suffering to get to where i want to be. Im still gonna work my ass off, but i will also enjoy this special time during undergrad. I dont know whats gonna happen and i always thought everyone else knew what they were doing and i listened to the noise. But now i know no one rlly knows whats going on and that i have to ignore it all and focus on what i need to do. This freedom to choose scared me before, but now im grateful for it. So in conclusion, im majoring in Urban Studies and on the premed track and if ya wanna tell me it will be hard, pls get in line. K thx yall have a good day! :]

The tuition cost was haunting. The dorm bill was daunting. The laptop your favorite college freshman just had to have cost more than your first car.
Students spent less on average for their course materials this year than last year; and that's way lower than they paid a decade ago, according to the latest results reported by the National Association of College Stores, which surveyed college students in the United States and Canada.
I just smile politely, wondering how I’m going to find anything worthy of academic research by hanging out and listening to ‘‘faggot’’ jokes.
