So I once went and saw this band play in front of 5 people (not including the 5 members of the support band) around this time 2 years ago. They have have now released and excellent album that I am really enjoying. If I was curating a festival this summer and wanted a local act that could fire up the crowd in an early afternoon set I'd choose theses guys.They are a 2 piece and would be cheaper to book than some bands and they would travel light. However, they rock live and play a little faster then this. I think this song is both excellent and hilarious. Lyrically, these guys nail it on this album which can be got from here for a fee. You should really rock it and enjoy.

Unity Floors "Give and Take"

Great Australia sound out of Sydney. Loud, but quite melodic. Out on Mystic Olympic Records, which appear to also have a Unity Floors/Chook Race split 7″ available.
Augustralia makes one more stop in Sydney to share the excellent two piece that is Unity Floors. I saw these two play at the Metro on a Friday night in summer. They played fast, they rocked and were appreciated by the 15 or so people who showed up to see them. This is music for a summer night. The album this song is from got a lot of play from me at the end of 2013 and all through the summer. It is a super album and full of great songs.
This track shows that there is slower side to the band. I'm not saying it is a ballad because it wouldn't be anywhere near right. It is, however, a really good album closer and it finishes off Exotic Goldfish Blues well and is my second favourite song off the album. I thought this would make a good second last track for Augustralia and it does fit well for a Friday night. This song will go well with getting ready to go out or with any form of alcohol. Enjoy and cheer for the two piece and hope they come to Adelaide again soon.
