My mind was only on Clexa at Unity Days.
Unity day was coming to a close, and while there had been undeniable tension from both the SAND crew and Clayton’s, it seemed to end mostly in success. Faisal had offered the football* he had packed away with the rest of his belongings as one of the tools for the day. He hoped to spark a friendly game, and yet when the ball dropped, he was nowhere to be seen.
“Alllaenat ealayk...!” He cursed in his native tongue, something he only did in private. Faisal struggled with an absurdly large mound of dough, beating the batter into submission as he also tried to flip it occasionally. He’d had the amazing idea to make a recipe for aish baladi, but because of the limited food supply, had to substitute most of the ingredients with other things, and it was beginning to look completely different than he remembered. He’d already missed the game, and now he would be in his stupid research tent kneading his stupid dough until the end of time. “Useless.” He murmured, more to himself than to the dough.
