Getting ready to leave again. I can't wait to get back to California at this point. It will feel good to be able to rest for a little bit. I have been packing and getting my schedule straightened out around my other work. Posts may be slowing down a bit until I can catch up with other things on my end.

I made time to go to Universal Osaka recently and had a blast. I took my roommate as her Christmas gift since she loves Harry Potter. That opened earlier this this year, so it was good timing for her.

I read the series like everyone else and while I fell out of love with it (like as soon as I finished the last book), I still had a great time. They did a great job in creating this small portion of Hogsmeade. The ride was fantastic and I was lucky enough to ride it twice with my roommate. I was able to see everything during the day and at night. I highly recommend seeing it at both times but it is especially beautiful at night with the lights.

Seeing Hogwarts Castle lit up and reflecting off the Black Lake was especially beautiful. Worth the ticket alone.

I haven't had much free time but I have been playing a lot of Gundam Breaker on the tube over here. So much fun! I also made time for a recent pick-up, Outtrigger. You can see my broke-ass set up above..I probably should have gotten a desk while I was here, but I didn't need one til Outtrigger. What an amazing experience. I wish I had played this one as a kid, back when I was way into Quake III online and Unreal. This was and still is right up my alley. I hope I get a chance to play a real game of multi-player later on. Expect to see that on here see soon as well as some highlights from Universal.
