ABOUT WWOHP WANDS:

I decided to make a post detailing the info I have found about the wands available at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood. I assume it’s the same for Orlando, however I don't know for sure. If you have been to Orlando and know how the wands work there please message me so I can edit this post accordingly. Enjoy:

So there are three different types wands you can purchase; Decorative wands, interactive wands, and training wands. Decorative wands are basically just a wooden wand, completely decorative as the name suggests; you can buy ones that are unique and also ones that are character replicas. They are $39. Interactive wands are essentially the same as the decorative ones except they have a sensor on the tip that allows them to interact with certain objects in the windows of hogsmeade. The employees I asked said so far they had only seen interactive wands that are character replicas, however I don’t know for certain if this is the case at all or if they won’t get unique interactive wands in the future. They are $47. Training wands are simply a replica of Harry’s wand with a red light on the tip? I wasn’t able to learn much about them, and I unfortunately don’t know how much they cost. I am guessing they are aimed more towards children.

so mum and I walked past the train conducted in hogsmede and he said "ah the weasleys" and I turned around and he said "oh take no offence miss, I've had plenty of you lot on here over the years" then he leaned forward and said "just please tell me, you're not a twin". god I love being ginger.

One of my favorite moments happened yesterday.

My friend and I had just bought our Hogwarts uniforms at Madam Matkin’s, and we’d been walking around Diagon Alley for no longer than 5 minutes when a woman asked to take a picture with us.

So that it would look “more real”. Because we were Hogwarts students.
