Sooooooo I'm wondering if the whole thing next week with the Mafia guy is the final catalyzing event for Qian. Yes he missed Yuan. Yes he wanted him back in his life but now that he's there Qian has no idea how to go from here. It feels like he expected Yuan to actively pursue him but instead Yuan is flirty and in his space but not actively making a move. And Qian really really hates change. He is very stuck in his ways and wants everything to be exactly how it was. I think he's going to need something major to shake him up and get him to take the next step with Yuan. Sending him away was one step but it wasn't enough for him to proactively pursue Yuan. Because he knew that Yuan was in New York and "safe" but almost losing him? Yuan almost dying in front of him? Will be enough to get him to finally make a move.
