Is noted transmisogynist last-tarrasque now trying to imply that they're black?
I think it's hard to read this and not see how it heavily suggests they're black, or at least not a white USAmerican, especially given the tags
(btw I am a white yankee, same as them, so take my opinions with a grain of salt)
Of all the little details in Rise that get stuck in my head, the one that constantly keeps floating to the surface is that in Breaking Purple, when Shelldon talks back at Donnie, "01001" is not binary for anything.
It's nothing. It's not enough binary to make a letter, let alone a word.
Unless Shelldon's just shouting the number "9" at Donnie (binary to decimal or hexadecimal, instead of binary to text).
Even if he was just going to say "F you" he'd still need more numbers. "01100110", actually.
Did we ever find out what photo shoot of him being held up by a group of people in front of a heavenly back drop was for?
I'm assuming you mean this photo? Unfortunately, I still think we're none the wiser. Just like all of lifes great mysteries, I fear all we can do is theories at the moment. All I know is that it was shot by Kelly Balch and that It's a beautiful shot. I think about it far too much.
i wanna make a longer post on ratgrinder discourse later, mostly just because i think there's a lot of interesting things to dig into in regards to the topic but
sincerely, looking at stories from different angles and perspectives and trying to understand the ideas of others is something i love, but there is one part of the "debate" that frustrates me dude so many of you people are putting words in each other's mouths
On the heels of @deardoomedworld's Tereeszposting, their pointing out Tereesz's parallels with Frantiček the Brave and in particular their shared end... I'm reminded that while the connection is not as pronounced, Khan also has his own Iilmaraan hero he pictured himself as as a kid... so in this light, one could try to frame his ending as "disappears on a quest to speak with God" and it's a fascinating thought?
WAIT A FUCKING SECOND
Blacklaw said that he is a grandfather
ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT SLACKJAW FUCKED? AND HE HAS A KID????
Seriously, do we even know the 5th dynasty that Tamamo destroyed?
Due to the virtue of her having pretty famously having only mucked up 4, no?
