“What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again.”
scared
funny that john’s story is that robert only Accidentally got aaron toppled over the cliff but also funny that even the villagers who haven’t heard that and so believe he just actively chose to kill aaron still think he’s guilty john your faith in robert is actually kinder than needed you could’ve accused him of being fully evil and everyone would still be like yeah
The office pictures are something today 🥺
I think the first Time I was taught about Racial harmony and to respect a culture it was not from School, it was from Archie's Weird Mysteries.
And it was this episode where Riverdale was attacked by some monster and Archie has to get over his embarrassment of his own culture to defeat said monster
Apparently Archie is of Scottish American descent and he feels shame from his culture until he pulls through and embraces it.
That's when I realized that all races have different cultures and it was only years later that the Pattern of "being scared to show off your own Culture" in American Media is very prevalent
Almost as if the Modern American identity subjugates any culture whatsoever makes anyone feel ashamed of where they Originated.
Even Archie's friends were also weirded out, even someone as close to him like Betty or as affluent like Veronica.
