“Oh my god, would you stop being such a fucking idiot,” Poppy laughed. The woman stood up off the edge of the bed and walked over to her girl. She rested her hands on the side’s of the woman’s face first. “You look fucking stunning, a’ight?” One eyebrow raised, Poppy shook her head and laughed. She hadn’t wanted to join a new band, but the fact that the rest of those bitches had kicked her out made her decision an easy one. So with her bass slung over her back and a middle finger to her ex bandmates, Artie walked into the audition. She didn’t know much about the band she was auditioning for. They were moderately popular in the area and they got played on local radio. That was the extent of her knowledge. Oh, and the singers name. Celeste.

“Uh, hey ... I heard you guys were maybe in the market for a new bass player?” She asked, as she sauntered into the room, head held high. The cigarette in her mouth burned quickl, as she took a long drag. Her eyes fell on the other girl, and a wide grin spread across her face, smoke curling around her. “Look no further. I think you’ve just found her. I’m Artemis and ... darling, I think I’m perfect for you.”

“Celeste-” Nora called as she wondered around their apartment a light frown tugged onto the corners of her features as her eyes scanned around the room. Cat toy in hand, she dangled the belled feather on a string under the sofa as if it could magically draw out the cats who seemed to have found new hiding places. “Cel have you got Salem? Nousha let out a long breath before looking to them with pursed lips. “Are you quite done?” She said with a light laugh. Two nights ago, the pair had hooked up. Nousha was very level-headed about the whole thing. They however, were not. “It doesn’t have to mean anything---” The moment the word was finished, they were off again. “That --- definitely sounded like the engine,” Blue sighed as she melted into the seat. “I really think that you should pull over. We’ll just have to sleep for the night in the car somewhere. Pausing in his day dream, he quirked an eye brow lightly as he turned his head to look over at the woman, a soft smile automatically pulling onto his features at the sight of her. He couldn’t help it, not with her. The sight off the roof was beautiful, he’d always said that after all it was his favourite place in the city. But she was more captivating that anything the skyline had to offer. “Hey-” He spoke, hand moving up to take a hold of hers as she joined him on the roof. Automatically, he looped his arm around her as he tugged her closer to his side pressing a soft brief kiss to her lips. “How could I not be now..” He uttered quietly, a hand rubbing absent circles on her back as the other moved up to brush gently over her cheek. With her by his side and them together away from the world - it was easier to forget the world going on around them. Hell - everything was brighter and softer with her, it always had been. “Are you okay?”
