House pop siren Becky Hill just released her new EP Eko, and she’s shared the final song off of it named Unpredictable. As we could have easily “predicted”, it’s quite the sultry soulful swooner. The London based 23 year old artist hits us hard with some deep thumping beats and her smoky, husky voice. Deep house meets gospel-tinged R&B on the smoldering banger, of which Becky states: “I didn’t write Unpredictable for myself originally, but I fell in love with it and needed it as my own! I love this song because it was about keeping faith in a time when I was running low on hope. It’s also the most up tempo song I’ve released under my own name to date and definitely a song I’ve danced round my lounge to a couple times!” Her new Eko EP is a brilliant showcase of her myriad influences, from club music to pop to alternative R&B. It also includes prior singles like Warm produced by Shift K3Y, Back to My Love featuring Lil Simz and produced by Noah Breakfast, and Rude Love produced by MNEK and Dimitri Tikovoi. It’s obvious Becky Hill has just unleashed a massive EP into the wild. You can stream/purchase Eko, here.
