My good friend @nuttynulty capturing me swimming with whale sharks and bait balls of sardines. Despite their enormous size, we couldn’t find the whale sharks. After spotting the bait balls, we realized the sharks were camouflaged under millions of sardines, occasionally preying on them. Evidence of this is clearly shown in the opening clip when a whale shark suddenly appears in a massive bait ball. We often had to dive and swim below the sardines to locate the whale sharks.
