I got bored, this is probably full of mistakes but I will check back in a bit. But Unti Dawn writings. Enjoy!
He Came for Me || Jessica + Mike
“Mike…”
Room one, the police station. A bright light shot into the shadows and darkness of the interview room. Sitting in front of a camera, a blonde woman sat. Blood stained on her cheeks, the gash seemed to be beginning to heal. Faded memories flashed into focus, and then blurred as though a camera was trying to focus. Trying to pick up the minute details of what happened.
Snow, branches, blood, caves, a man. A voice, screaming out.
“He… He came for me.”
Jessica stared down the camera lens. Her eyes foggy with confusion. What had happened to her… she didn’t know. She could remember the tugging on her leg, the sound of her flesh being scraped by something sharp. Claws? She didn’t know, but she could faintly remember the burning of her skin. The agony she was placed in, the thudding of her heart as she coughed.
Mike was there. He ran for her. He took the short cuts, dived head first into danger without a second thought.
“Where is he?”
He was leaning over her, reaching out to help. That was when there was a drop, then darkness. The inability to move her limbs for some time. It took hours for her to be able to pull herself up. All the while, crashes and bangs paralysed her with fear. Was death coming? Was that thing… was it coming back to finish the job?
All those fears remained, even when the relief of dawn washed over her cold and bloodied body. Matt had helped her though, he had held her from the monster. The… Jessica didn’t even know what it was called. Or what it could be.
She couldn’t describe it to the officers, but what she could describe was the look on her boyfriend’s face. It was all she could remember, and it seemed the officers weren’t getting much else out of her. Not when she was desperate to see Mike. Her small body shook on the spot, as she stared at them with panic stricken eyes.
“Did he make it?”
Jessica stumbled out of the interview room, her head darting from left to right as she looked at her friend’s faces. She hardly even registered them. Except for him. Darting towards him with the ounce of strength that remained, Jessica fell into the arms of Mike. He wrapped his arms around his girlfriend and pressed his cold chapped lips to the top of her head. Shutting her eyes tightly, Jessica buried her face in his chest.
“I thought you were dead.” She heard him cough out.
