i got Ed twice because you guys know EXACTLY what I'm about and it's my fucking guy alright, its MY GUY
To absolutely no one's surprise Ed is my absolute favorite, my best man, did nothing wrong ever in his entire life (kicks list of crimes overboard, my god does he need a hug i will burn down HBO headquarters if he doesn't get a hug in season 2.
I'm MOSTLY joking when i say i'm the only one who gets him right. there are a lot of people out there who have some amazing head takes and understand him. but also every time i got in ao3 or the tags i see SUCH crimes against ed, SUCH blatant misunderstandings and bad faith takes, that i truly do want to build a gate around him that says "must not be a racist or a complete shitheel to approach" because man. man. man.
i can really tell that for some people ed is the first character of color they've ever been obsessed with and that's not a compliment.
B UT <3 *I* LOVE ED, and I see him. I think he's such a great character. Genuinely all he's missing is some brainwashing/possession and he'd be a character hand built FOR ME. Everything about Ed is just so <3<3<3 makes my brain go brrrrrrr makes my heart brighten up. please see the probably tens of thousands of words of meta i have crafted regarding him for more on how much i love the man the myth the legend the heartstealer ed teach.

A fic I never finished on ff.net lmao. I think it was for The Mentalist. If you squint, I had discussions in forums and message boards that maybe someone would generously count as "meta"? That was it, I never did much beyond talking.
L: Your favorite fanartist/author gives you one request, what do you ask for?
Oh lmaoo I'd ask for fanart of an age-appropiate, canon-compliant Jaime Lannister (from GoT infamy) waiting in the throne room after killing the king. There's surprisingly very little art of his most iconic moment that actually captures how he looked at the time.
For the author, I'd just ask them to write more 😭
P: Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).
Oh I'm not sure I'm good at this but I'd love to see a steampunk or dieselpunk AU of wolf359. I just think it would fit the sci-fi genre well and trying to adapt Hera would be highly interesting (I'm thinking a sort of Metropolis aesthetic). It would also go back to some of the inspo for the show like Atlantis.
