This person was definitely in the wrong. They had untagged mpreg, not to mention untagged future parentlock. In future do try to offer them alternative tags. Tell them where they should be, and advise them to put a warning up for mpreg! They may not be aware. If they are aware, that’s just one hell of an inconsiderate prompt.

This was so painful to leave. I hate the nagging way they’re trying to shove Sebastian onto their OC. If you want to lead a roleplay with that much force, then write a fanfiction, because, in a roleplay, characters are dependent entities controlled by the players. 

It would have even been more hilarious if you decided to make Emma a baby, thus incapable of speak. ‘She told you that? Her first words were a full sentence? That’s amazing, smart kid’.

Do you think mpreg should be tagged too? I really don't want to see pregnancy at all. I lost connection before we could resolve this one but I just kind of hate mpreg? It makes me uncomfortable?

I definitely think it should be tagged. Parentlock, Omegalock, whatever. I don’t like mpreg at all, but I dislike parentlock in mormor entirely. Just tell them that you don’t want to roleplay mpreg and that they should be using the correct tags for it, though, even if I agree and stringing out some assholes can be fun. There’s another anon with the same prompt I’m just about to share actually, hah.

I’m sorry, how the fuck does that make any sense? What the fuck kind of ignorant, selfish, blind, self righteous shit is that?

You know what makes sense? If I don’t want to see femlock, I won’t use the femlock tag. If I don’t want to see parentlock, I won’t use the parentlock tag. If I don’t want see slavelock, I won’t use the slavelock tag. If I don’t want to see omegalock, I won’t use the omegalock tag. It’s that fucking simple. That is the most logical fucking answer to that, rather than just putting every AU, no matter how controversial or potentially harmful or upsetting or degrading, under the johnlock tag as an umbrella for all of it. Because how the fuck does it make sense that you shouldn’t have johnlock as a tag when all you want is to roleplay johnlock? Why the fuck would you deny someone an entire ship just so they don’t have to put up with shitty femlock and parentlock? Is that really what this has come to?

I mean, I understand that this child in this prompt is little more than a plot device and a means to encourage an establishing of a relationship between John and Sherlock, which I usually excuse, sure - but it’s fucking ridiculous regardless of your opinion, it is still parentlock and should be tagged as such, and this person’s logic is just up the fucking wall, and more importantly - the prompt can be continued without the parentlock. The parentlock is unnecessary. Fucking Christ.

Hi yeah, so I'm the stranger from this log (logs/omegle/com/a18df5b) that was scolded earlier in this blog (I was just scrolling through parentlock tag now and it came up). Yeah so for one thing, I've actually been amending how I play this so it is actually focused on a Sebastian/ Jim focus earlier on because that's what I want it to be (really I don't give a damn about the mother). Second, I've actually found that a lot of people under the mormor tag like this prompt, just saying.

Well good on you for changing the focus of it, but it should still be in the parentlock tag.

that person who went off on the Oliver rper was way too harsh, I think you should make a point to some of your followers that the best way to to deal with the untagged femlock issue is not to doggedly bully people when they post femlock in other tags. as we've seen, explaining it to them calmly and patiently was much more effective.

While I firmly believe it’s a case by case situation in how to deal with these sorts of people, I absolutely agree that the OHL roleplayer was in need of a calm discussion, rather than how the other person handled it. I have yet to run into them again, even after actively searching in the parentlock tag to apologise, but I will make a post about them shortly.

I hope after that last oliver thing people leave them the fuck alone and stop bullying them. I feel really bad and understand where they come from. Sure they didn't use the tags but look how much shit they are going through, getting bullied online because of some roleplay prompt. Can I just ask to not take any more asks or submissions about this prompt? It's going a bit too far and they are obviously fed up with the shit they go through. I feel really bad for this kid.

I’m absolutely on the same page on this one. While some people on omegle are stubborn, arrogant, deliberately inconsiderate and selfish fucks, I do not believe the OHL person is one of them. I think the OHL person was someone who needed to be approached calmly and with compassion, looking back on the conversation that the anon sent in, and I wish I was able to do that instead of attack, in this instance. OHL is the only case in which I have actually felt guilt and regret, from this blog. I plan to make a separate post about them shortly.
