Vans Advertisement (Part of Project 1)
Critical Analysis of Advertisement
This is a design about Van’s new shoes ‘Ultrarange’ which are shoe brand new in their company from design to style. Everyone knows Vans, they have nothing to do with the sporty type of shoes.
Although they made this and I said to myself that I had to hop on this and create a design to advertise this shoe.
The beginning was tough to figure out as are most designs in the beginning, but with time I started to figure out that it had to have some sort of an idea that represents it. I chose their slogan off the wall.
You can see from here, I would put the shoes above the wall and create a shadow presenting the slogan off the wall, I created that and next was the idea of the advertisement. I thought about a sale percentage fitting to Vans, then I chose 30%.
The last part is the Ultrarange, and the reason I designed it like this is probably understood by most, Ultrarange=range, I created range basically to represent the word itself.
The principle I focused on was a contrast in color in the background to make it stand out. The repetition in the text ‘Ultrarange’, and lastly Hierarchy starts from the most important to the least.
