“Photography Metaphor Assignment”

as always i have started by looking into an inspiration from the internet & Pinterest , but the idea of making a photography metaphor about “Ramadan” is the one that catch me the most actually from the beginning even before looking into Pinterest and google this idea was crossing my mind.

the concept is about how Ramadan is a month that comes to لاless our year with the beautiful traditions it has , also its a month that is full with prayer and spirituality with Allah.

the cartoon character called “Um Saeed” from the cartoon series “Fereej” by the creator “Mohamed Said Hareb” , which is from the UAE film director and an animator.

Logo Re-Design | Logo Design (مطعم شمس العراق) Critical Analysis on the logo by myself.

Process, Concept, Ideation, Inspiration, Elements, Techniques, and Principles

The reason I chose this logo was that this logo was actually re-designed recently by the restaurant and I felt bad they did not give it its max potential the second try. I decided to take a chance on this and made this. A chef’s hat on the sun that has a “fez” on it which is something in Iraq, and it has grills written on the hat to explain the components of the restaurant. Mustache also signifies Iraq. The techniques were placement, shape builder tool, ellipse, type, pen, line, achor, and direct selection tool. Elements include line, shape, and color. Principles include color harmony, emphasis on color, and contrast in size and color. @uob-funoon
