HOW TO INSTALL
paste code number 1 in the meta section of your theme (right at the top where you can see for example: <meta name="color:Background" content="#ffffff"/>). This is so that you can change the colours of the boxes without going into the code.

The original version has 5 boxes
You can always add more though, just be careful to name everything right (you can always ask me if you need help)
All the colours are customizable without having to go into the code, just do it in your tumblr customizing menu
For the text you need to go into the code though, just like with every other updates tab
If you want to add a picture do that in the customizing menu as well

Hello! I was wondering how you got your updates tag? I can't figure it out! :)
Hello! Well I first had to spend hours trying to find the perfect code for my blog (there's dozens of them out there, you just gotta find one that fits your preference). Here's some good ones to look through:

Here's a really basic tutorial on how to move most of these codes to the opposite side of your blog.

How to create an updates tab that only shows up when you click on its button - like this one:
From my Moondor theme :) I wanted to make a 'different' updates tab but I couldn't find a tutorial anywhere so I just made my own. Perfect for minimal themes or, on the contrary, cluttered themes; also for people who don't want to confuse their visitors with complicated hovering stuff, I suppose!

Your in luck, because I just so happened to have found about a million different updates tab codes the other day when I was looking for mine. These ones are all for the top of your blog, although some of them are for the left corner. It's easy to change that in the HTML, though, so if you choose one in the left, I'd be happy to help you switch it.
