UPLIFT is coming to Israel!

Israel is a land of extremes. A land of devotion, inspiration and creative innovation woven within a backdrop of what is often described as ‘a war zone’. The birthplace of King Solomon, Jesus and many sages and prophets from the Muslim, Christian and Hebrew traditions, Israel is a cultural melting pot of over 150 different ethnic groups. A land of many temples… and many battles.

While modern media focuses primarily on the violence and discord in the region, there is a rising wave of positive change emerging from a groundswell of inspired initiatives, groups and individuals devoted to the creation of a whole new paradigm of Peace, Unity and Oneness in action. 

In full alignment with this great movement, we are honored to celebrate the launch of UPLIFT in Israel on May 1st 2014 in the Smolarz Auditorium at Tel Aviv University. This unique and unprecedented event will bring together a diverse blend of visionary scientists, academics, artists, musicians, environmentalists and peace activists to open bold pathways to peace and new possibilities in Israel and beyond.

Dr. Bruce H. Lipton will present his best selling book (newly translated to Hebrew) ‘Biology of Belief’, there will be an open forum of Q&As with Dr. Lipton, the Imam of the Al Aqsa mosque, and the founder of UPLIFT and ORGANIC INDIA Bharat Mitra (Yoav Lev), discussing Oneness in Action in the world, and Israeli musician Shye Ben Tzur will share the stage with Palestinian musician Bashir Eldik. All of this and much more in service of providing a platform for the local and global community to come together and discover what great possibilities emerge when we unify our gifts and visions for the greater good of all. 

The launch of UPLIFT Israel will be hosted by Ora and Ihab Balha, an Israeli and a Palestinian (a couple of Jewish and Muslim heritage) who live Oneness on a daily basis with their family. Having initiated the first Jewish-Arab kindergarten in Jaffa, they have dedicated their life to sharing messages of Peace and dissolving pre-conceived separation between communities and cultures.

As the spirit of UPLIFT ripples out, giving rise to fresh partnerships, inspired projects and events at a grassroots and global level, we are launching UPLIFT in Israel. We look forward to sharing the magic of the May 1st UPLIFT event with our global UPLIFT Community and we trust that as we open heartedly join together to meet the many challenges faced by Israel, Palestine and the region, the spirit of Oneness will spread beyond borders and contribute to healing and reconciliation on a global scale.
