PSA TO ALL OF MY FELLOW ROLEPLAYERS

Please don’t ever feel like there is an age limit on roleplaying. Roleplaying is a hobby like any other hobby and you are not obligated to grow out of it or move on to another interest because friends and other people think you’re too “old” to be musing fictional characters. There is NO age limit on any hobby whatsoever and your age should never be a deciding factor on when you should move away from something just because society deems it as childish or unacceptable. You’re thirty five years old and you’re still running that Frieza blog? Good on you! Have fun! You’re forty six years old and you are still roleplaying the Oc you created when you were twelve? Awesome! Good for you! You’ve been writing since you were fifteen, you’re now twenty seven, work full-time, and love roleplaying on different platforms in your free time? That is fine and that is good! I have met roleplayers of all ages and walks of life and they are all amazing people. I’ve even had the honor of meeting one writer who is well into her mid thirties and has published several books outside of the website she roleplays on. If someone tells you you’re too old to be roleplaying or implies that pretending to be a fictional character is childish, you tell them to go shove it because you do not deserve or need that type of negativity in your life.
