Honestly, I don’t know if I’m completely happy with this paragraph at the moment, but it’s good enough. I just need to stop editing this fic and keep writing the damn thing; I just can’t help but constantly proof read what I’ve got... urg 😩

There is a low rumble; a rise of something thick and tangibly raw; an emotion painted with threatening strokes and wounded lines. The creature’s feathers raise lazily with the sound; vibrating as they start to stand on end; their rustling getting louder and louder and quicker and quicker the higher they stand. The rumbling getting deeper and deeper, a low base that begins to thump like a raging pulse through the earth and Joseph’s own hand and arm. The creature puffing heavily against the preacher’s exposed throat as if Wrath itself was the one upon him; breathing pure rage into his skin and around his neck. A noose fashioned by carnage and a trembling maw of teeth.

Why does the scene after Kate jumps in Life is Strange end so abruptly? Because, like, if you save her, you get a few more moments to let the relief wash over or whatever. But if she jumps, it just cuts to the next scene with no time for the decision to sink in. If you really wanted to make the player feel guilty, can’t we have a moment where Max just breaks down in tears and David comes up behind (since he is clearly trying to run into the building during the ‘freezing time’ sequence) to console her?

What an unsatisfying end to one of the game’s ‘major’ choices.

Very .... Uncomfortable... Hearing that the Kyo Ani arson DID IN FACT submit a novel to one of their contests. Previously, it was stated they never had received anything from him, saying they would have remembered. Now we know that not only did he submit, but he had done so under the same name and address. They're saying that they never used his content, but they didn't give any details of the content when making this statement. They've now lied once and that sits so awful with me. It's a weird position for sure. If they're telling the truth that they didn't use the content, then they probably just don't want to give him any exposure. I respect that. But.... Considering they swore they hadn't gotten anything from him, but once their data was reported as safe, now they say "yes we did but we didn't use it" ? People are dead, just be fucking honest. It wouldn't excuse the crime, there's absolutely nothing realistic that could ever excuse it. But be fucking honest.
