Hulu has licensed and set a release date for Season 2 of Staged, the British COVID-era comedy headlined by David Tennant and Michael Sheen.

Warning for American Viewers of Downton Abbey

January 12th's episode (due to the US combining episodes 1&2 last week) will contain DISTURBING MATERIAL. (more details after the break.)

Without giving too much away, a beloved character is sexually assaulted. The actual act is offscreen, but the entire sequence is  very distressing and viewers with sexual violence in their own past may find this too much to deal with. It occurs during the final ten minutes of the episode. 

This event does play a large role in the season and I personally felt the aftermath was very well handled, but most viewers of the original broadcast have stated that they wished they were better warned about it. I personally was warned, and it made it much easier for me to emotionally process the episode.
