Okay. So. Temmie. May we have some representations of how you see Temmies of main 4 AUs? Something outstanding in them? Just to have an idea of what we're dealing with. (Temmies are ones my most favourite characters, so yeah, I am super intrigued.)
Hey, sure thing! {I’m gonna do a little different than my usual general headcanon layout} ~Mod Feral
Despite how many, many monsters take them, they’re actually a smart species. They also actually prefer keeping to their own, so the fact that people are naturally repulsed by their natural dialect and detachable faces helps them out. A Temmie is actually hard to make true friends with if you yourself aren’t human or another Temmie. They also love to mess with people.
They’re the only Temmie in their universe, so there’s no species normality. Temmie is actually an old beloved plush of a child long gone, just brought to life by unnatural means. Even after regaining what it means to be loved and feel love, they still have a habit of going into mean statements. Because of the fact that they’re a plush, they’re a lot harder to potentially kill than Flowey would be. They decided to stay with Chara after the Pacifist ending.
These things are an enigma. It’s unclear if they’re smart or not. One thing that is clear, however, is they’re nearly indestructible. Temmies of Underfell are unaffected by most attacks and can even survive a dip in lava. Heck, they sometimes run into lava like lemmings when they get to Hotland. If someone had visited Temmie Village, it’ll be apparent because they’ll be picking Temmie Flakes from their clothes/hair/fur for days.
Like the regular Swap Temmie, there’s only one and their an old plush. They are an expert at acting like a normal, unalive plush and use that to their advantage. In fact, they tricked Chara into thinking that they were harmless and just wanted to go back to their true home. They had a few torn seams when first found, and it took a lot of convincing to get Chara to get them fixed.
