Bitches will complain and say the Dems are all turning socialist while not even batting an eye while the Reps are being taken over by MAGA..... It's not a blue versus red issue. It's never been that.
I wish more people understood that debilitating paranoia isn’t just an “us vs them” mentality, something that is present in literally every human being. it’s “I’m alone in this. even my friends and family are prospective enemies, and painfully so because they have the potential to become the most dangerous to me since I’m vulnerable with them.” there is no ‘us’, just me against the world. and sometimes the world fools me into believing it’s kind.
US vs THEM
“You are not angry enough” is only a part of it, of course you’re not angry enough, you’ve been molded into something that will see and hear and consume every possible atrocity and be numb to it.
I hate our government for killing our people and the people of other nations and no amount of “but the victims are evil too” will justify our country’s violence, no amount of “just have faith in your God” will bring me peace. I am so grateful that their tyrannical theocratic government is falling, that the leader is dead, at the same time, this was not our fight. We could have sent reinforcements, food, water. Granted asylum to those fleeing. But instead we bombed a school of young girls. The blood of children is on our hands. Iran is not the first and certainly not the last nation that has suffered because of the US military, many of you know that full well.
My words here apply to every atrocity committed by the US government, not only the current bombing of Iran.
It is important not only to remember the names of those harmed, but of those doing harm. We ought to remember that the statute of limitations for murder is nonexistent. We need to remember that the Nuremberg defense of “just following orders” didn’t matter. We need to remember this cruelty not as a necessary evil or a tragedy that couldn’t have been prevented, but for what it was, individuals with power doing harm to others because they can. There’s no benefit to it, not one I can find, that would be worth its weight in the blood that has been shed. No higher power is guiding their hand to the big red button. They’re doing this all on their own.
Rest in peace not only to the students and civilians in Iran but to every life lost by the hand of the United States’ government. I’m sorry. The majority of deaths were completely unnecessary, an entirely preventable tragedy, but it won’t be in vain. You’ll be remembered, as will many victims of circumstances like yours, and every officer and commander who subjected you to this because they were just following orders.
Thank you for your time and God bless.

You know, it makes a lot more sense of why it always had to be “us vs them” rhetoric, everytime when Donald Trump tries to manipulate the American people by telling them to choose one side over the other, which is just absolutely ridiculous and stupid. 😒
