alrighty dudes here’s the deal

one way or another i am GOING TO GET MY ASS TO NYC THIS YEAR (and disneyland if i can help it)

my uni are potentially running a 2 week trip (with credit!!) at nyu (i think??) they’ve taken expressions of interest but nothing’s set in stone yet

the thing with that is that if i go through uni i can tack on a holiday at the start but i can also get student loans to cover the cost of the trip, whereas if i have to go independently i have to fund the whole thing myself, which is...interesting

i’ve got 5.5k in my bank account and a dream in my heart #prayforme 

i’m a serial shopper so i need to stop blowing money on pointless shit however i also don’t want to 

that 5.5k only took about 8 months to save, though i’ll be working a lot less when i go back to uni and probably spending a lot more - i’ve got to cover parking costs and textbooks and petrol (uni is about an hour away by car which means $$$)

at my retail job there are too many staff and not enough hours to go round. i’ve been working mondays ever since uni finished and that’s good money but i won’t be able to do that once uni goes back because the fucking performing arts department schedule ALL THEIR CLASSES ON A GODDAMN MONDAY 

HOWEVER, the girl that normally does sundays has just quit so i may start getting more sunday shifts, which is amazing bc penalty rates

i’ll also be getting roughly $80 a fortnight from my other job, and maybe MAYBE i can pick up a few extra hours in the office in my spare time or try and get a music teaching job

i’ll be keeping you all up to date lol this post is a mess
