at local used CD store
If I ever open a store chain I’m calling it “NO MUSIC” where there will be no music playing whatsoever, so shoppers can listen to their music in peace. The employees will get great benefits and also not have to listen to annoying music all day. There will be a rack of CDs that have been exchanged for store credit in the back where you can pick music to buy for bargain prices (nothing more than the digital purchase price). Also cd players will be off to the side if you need a starter. Food, water, and consumable goods (tampons, pads, diapers) will be pay-what-you-can-afford. There will also be a lounge area that will act as a 3rd place, with DND sessions weekly, and any club that wants to meet there.
My thought is if the store is good enough nobody would want to shoplift since it’s so nice.
