I want to build an entire obikin story around this ONE Shakespeare quote.

Not that I'm saying it has to be a whole Shakespearean AU, but I think they could be 'Benedick & Beatrice'-like in any setting with a little work.

(And I think Anakin would be the Benedick character while Obi-Wan is Beatrice. Because of the characters' personalities and the way they act - no other reason.)

Anakin hurt him in the past, so he's raised his defenses against him and then some. And they're very snarky towards each other, but you know they both still really care.

Basically I just really love Much Ado About Nothing and think it would work.

People who want to see Obi-Wan "disillusioned with the outdated and stubborn Jedi Order" in the Kenobi series have clearly never watched Rebels or A New Hope, or read a single Obi-Wan comic or book from his time in exile.

Also, I love that everyone else gets single names - Solo, Andor, Ahsoka - but not Obi-Wan. That bitch got the whole OBI-WAN KENOBI.
