Can we agree, limited Lucifer finale spoilers?

Fellow Lucifans, though it pains me unbelievably so to acknowledge, there’s the possibility that the upcoming Lucifer finale will be the last episode ever of our beautiful show.

In light of this, can we all make a shared agreement to protect each others’ season/series finale viewing experience here on tumblr?

We mostly all know that Canada is releasing the episode a day early, and it’ll quickly be online for people to find and watch and want to talk about. And being a post-consummated Deckerstar cliffhanger of an episode, people are gonna want to talk, to gif, to screech about.

Can we make the agreement: TAG EVERYTHING PRIOR TO THE OFFICIAL US AIRING WITH SPOILER TAGS, like “lucifer spoilers” and “spoilers”.

Can we make the agreement: DON’T POST GIFSETS MORE THAN 8 HOURS OUT FROM THE OFFICIAL US AIRING. Ideally, don’t post any until showtime.

Obviously I can’t force anyone to abide by this request, but I think it would be the classy thing to do. We’re all going through a shared shitty experience right now, facing the possible permanent death of our beloved show. Let’s not make it worse for people by carelessly spoiling the hell out of the ending for each other.

Plus, if people feel like they’ve “seen” all the highlights of the episode, they’ll be less likely to watch and add to the ratings. If we spoil things, it’ll kill the buzz, which will only hurt the show in a critical time.

Can we make this agreement?

(And for the love of Lucifer, whatever you tweet that’s show related all day, please tag #savelucifer and #pickuplucifer. Maybe it’ll make a difference, maybe it won’t, but we should be able to say we tried our damnedest.)
