SIMS 2 CHEAT FILE PSA
Today I learned some things about the userStartup.cheat file!
setQuarterTilePlacement on does not work no matter where you put it in the order of your startup cheats + it breaks all information below it.
boolProp lockTiles false will crash your game before it even loads the neighborhood selection screen.
Do not use the Tab key when typing up your cheat file for any reason. Tab = Gremlins.
Cheat Aliases are really hard to write.
Having a startup cheat is awesome when you finally fucking get it to work.

When you finally get your userStartup.cheat to work:
I installed the mod for Sims 2 called, ‘SeeThem’ or whatever it was called. Unfortunately it replaced my previous UserStartUp.cheat file thing that I had used (I downloaded it from somewhere else).
I am not handy at all with these even with finding walkthroughs, tips, and stuff like that. Does anyone think they can give me their startup file to work off of? It’d be a really nice gesture.
Does anyone have a simple userstartup.cheat file? The one I found was all complicated and junk, and when I try to make my own it doesn't work.
userStartup.cheat help
I have been trying to get my file to work and it's not going according to plan. Part of it works and some of it doesn't. Is there a particular order that the cheats need to go in? I have tried searching all the info I can and getting tidbits here and there with no real help. Anyone have some suggestions or useful tips or maybe wanna share yours. *puppy dog eyes*
