hey! will this fic ever be returning?

hi there. i feel like i owe you guys a bit of an explanation as to where i’ve gone. i really, REALLY appreciate all of the support i’ve gotten for this story. like, for real, it was the biggest response i’ve ever gotten on my writing, and it means so much to me that people were invested in something i wrote. thank you so much for commenting, sending in asks, leaving kudos. it means so much.

however, you may have noticed that i’ve left it alone for quite a while. a large part of that is because i realized that within my plans for the story, i had accidentally left in a lot of plot holes i needed to straighten out, but i just didn’t have the energy to do that. another reason is that low key my interest for twdg has definitely died down. however, i’ve loved this game for seven years now, and i’m not about to stop loving it. i generally come back to the things i love periodically, and twdg has previously not been an exception to that. i really doubt that i’m never going to really be feeling twdg again, especially because it’s been SUCH a huge part of my life.

but like, probably the main reason i haven’t updated recently was that it’s my junior year of high school, and i’m taking nine classes and am currently in a play, and before that, it was soccer season, and before THAT over the summer, i got my first job, and when i don’t have any of that going on, i’m either hiking or hanging out with friends, and i just haven’t really had the time to write fanfiction. what little time i have to write now, i’ve been using to write an original work. i can’t say i’ll never come back to utcb. i can’t say i ever will, though, either. i really apologize to anyone who was looking forward to an update, and i can’t thank y’all enough for the support this story got.
