What is your personal favorite fic written by yourself?

i think it would be until the last star falls mostly because out of all the oc i’ve written, this one is a little more different. she isn’t as shy, she’s more of an extrovert and is cheeky and funny and a very string character physically and emotionally. this is the kind of character that i always hope to be, someone who is strong and extroverted but still keeps her kind heart, hiding her insecurities and difficult times and focus on others. but her flaws, just like a lot of the others, are too kind for their own good, always sacrificing herself for others which can hurt her a lot.

it’s also my longest fic i’ve written but also in the shortest amount of time. writing this was a ride but so great! i got to sit and write and write thousands of words at a time, ideas flooding my thoughts ever time. it’s been the best times writing this fic so i would say until the last star falls has been my favorite fic so far 💛

If you don’t mind can you maybe write the start up of the punishment like what oc did and how the boys reacted to it? You don’t need to worry about writing the smut it’s fine i totally understand it. - 😈💅🏽

ahh, it’s not necessarily your typical punishment thingy and i honestly don’t have the time to start up a whole other thing but it basically goes like this;

you remember those underworld creatures y/n had to fight in order to become someone worthy to be a shield at the beginning of the story? yeah, those creatures aren’t really controlled by anyone. they’re wild animals, kinda like cerberus but cerberus knows better, he’s loyal to his queen and lords. the animals are loyal, they just haven’t gotten the time to warm up to y/n.

and so one of the lost souls left the river, y/n goes to chase after it, she encounters three creatures, left her sword in her chambers because she felt she didn’t need it at the moment, and while holding onto the lost soul with one hand, she tries to fight off the three with one free hand and two legs.

seokjin said in the epilogue "We may not have to worry about your sickness but you make that up through being reckless and continuously putting yourself in danger and that is even more worrisome," which they’ve told her before to call for them if anything goes wrong because even though they know she’s capable of taking care of herself, they still worry y’know.

and since y/n didn’t tell them and got hurt along the way, she comes back and of course they aren’t too happy.

so they go into this long lecture about how she has to stop being reckless cuz it worries them so much but she tells them it’s her fighter’s instinct, she can’t help it and such and then along this whole thing, she basically blurts out something along the line of “why do you care so much? i don’t even care this much about my life. i’m fine, i’m not going to die.”

and that’s where the part about hoseok saying “you be nice to yourself little one” comes in.

so they’re shocked and basically forces y/n to start taking more precaution and care about herself or at least makes her promise them as the punishment happens.

okay okay so during the trail does that mean no one was ruling the underworld? Bc they were all humans yk. Or is it like an alternate universe. And are kai and miran actual people? Or were they just made to be characters in the trial? Ah! So many questions!

ask as many as you want! i love answering them hehe.

basically yeah, no one was ruling the underworld since the seven Lords were gone. but because the timing is so short (as gods are immortal and three months isn’t much) there isn’t really any need of someone acting as a ruler. all important things would be held back tho, like the trials of the Throne of Judgement, until the Lords have returned. And if Zeus feels that the Underworld has gotten out of control during the trial, he can put someone there in the Underworld to act as a ruler.

Kai and Miran were in fact real. Their lives previous and after the three month trial was different though, because meeting the guys and Y/N creates another story but not entirely different, they’re still mainly exposed to the business and ceo thing.

the trial is an alternative universe as i’ve mentioned, so everything returns to normalcy when the trial ends with Y/N’s death.

Why did I imagine that after she died the human bts looked her story up and were shook to see her in history.

haha, no bubs. after y/n dies, the trial ends. therefore bringing everything back to how things were before with the human bts being the Lords of the Underworld again. miran and kai were just side characters portrayed as if they had known the guys for however long they needed, kai being since he was born because he played as Jimin's brother, and miran for a couple of years. it’s like falling into an alternative universe and your past has already been written for you. the trial was an alternative universe as well as reincarnation.

also meaning that miran and kai will have no idea who bts and y/n are, as if that three month period had never happened. their lives are different from the ones with bts and y/n, thus the reason y/n worried about kai forgetting her and made him make that promise even though she knew he won’t be able to keep it. she wanted to have a little comfort knowing someone may remember her in case she fails the trial.

but either way, he doesn’t remember or know a thing because the trial erases any existence with him associated with the members and y/n, sadly.

I really love this! I really admire you for coming up with this beautiful plot and having a way with words to make it into this wonderful story. I don't know how you get your ideas for all your stories, but god I love them. I literally cried, when oc revealed her fave to little Kai and how he was the first one to see her heart. I also loved the similarities to some situations. I could  definitely read this story a hundred times and would never get tired of it. Bless you for writing this.

idk how I get some of these ideas either tbh. if anyone were to ask how my writing brain works, I can’t tell them the exact answer because I don’t know either haha. but thank you uwu. before writing the reincarnation portion, I played some of the scenes in my head and oof, none of them came out the way the story is now and most of the time that’s how my writing process works haha. which is why I try to refrain myself from imagining some scenes because I know I won’t go with that but rather just letting my fingers type as it writes.

kai wasn’t actually supposed to be a character, one of the guys was actually going to be the first to see her face but I guess during the whole aspect of it all, I wanted a character that would make y/n feel better about herself and less lonely since she’s alone in the process and doesn’t have anyone to vent to. even though she doesn’t necessarily vents to kai, he understands her more on that level so I guess that was a good addition to the story haha.
