Remember that in these times to treat retail workers with kindness! We don’t really have the option to quarantine ourselves and put ourselves at risk every day to provide you with your necessities. Right now, most of us are severely overworked and stressed out as hell. I’m head of a pickup department for people placing online orders so that they don’t have to risk themselves being in the store and one of my employees just called me sobbing because a customer said horribly rude things to her and threatened her because we didn’t have a lot of their order due to us being understocked from people buying up everything. We’re doing everything we can for rather minimal pay to make sure everything’s done right and everyone is able to buy their necessities to keep themselves safe. We know we don’t have a lot on the shelves, we know that these are hard times, and we’re doing our best.
