If Marlet is Chujin and Starlo is Ceroba, were the two married at some point with Marlet having a Boss Monster soul?

not quite !! a lot of starlo’s feelings when it comes to relationships are similar to how they are in regular Undertale yellow, what with his feelings for ceroba even though they weren’t reciprocated (though that’s a tangent for another day when I get to ceroba herself) so he’s never had any sort of romantic interest in martlet, and vice versa!

after the snowdin attack clover essentially adopted starlo and martlet as their caretakers and the two both agreed to raise clover together just as friends!! that being said the two grew even closer as friends and continued to have that strong relationship where they both looked to each other as essentially family. although a lot of clover’s fate when it comes to specifics is still being worked on, for the meantime (though, take this with a grain of salt as it definitely could be changed) clover does not have the boss monster gene!

figured i’d need to get around to these four so introducing the fabled five!! or, four in this case.

a lot of their personalities remain in tact with how they act in canon, though a few of their core attributes swapped to better fit with the person they were swapping with!

moray’s an aerobics enthusiast!! after Starlo brought back the tapes from waterfall moray was the one who often replayed the “aerobics 4 five” tape over and over and was always the one putting their foot down to encourage the rest of the fabled group to follow the tapes with them!! along with that, they’re south sun’s right hand in devotion!! the hours of aerobics certainly payed off!!

ed’s an aspiring singer, and a good one at that! he’s still fairly strong, and a lot of the time it’s not uncommon for anger to get the better of him, but he’s a lot more sensitive and a lot more hyper aware of how people are feeling than his regular uty counterpart. that said, he still cracks a lot of jokes and jabs, especially when it comes to the fabled five! in reality, he’s not too much different from his regular uty self.

mooch is a professional dealer! but not a faithful one! she’s still the same mooch despite the role change. it’s just a matter of when people will catch on. her and ace often team up when it comes to any and all gambling needs! south sun’s immediate advice to Kanako upon entering scorched north is to not approach those two together.

and lastly ace is an… alleged thief! alleged. can’t prove anything you didn’t see! him and mooch often play villainous roles when it comes to banter in the fabled five, though ace is still fairly serious, where mooch isn’t. his poker face intimidates even south sun! the pair know when to steer things back, though. and, despite the front, ace still cares deeply about the rest of the fabled five.

I’m still expanding on ideas for them but that’s the basic gist! 👹👹

certain relationships changed with the swap such as martlet and starlo / chujin and south sun where martlet and starlo behave as joint parents to clover rather than anything more and chujin and south sun are not incredibly fond of one another because of how different their beliefs are !! I wanted to leave a lot of character dynamics in this au purely left to interpretation because it’s much more fun that way >:D that’s not to say I don’t have my own thoughts my staroba agenda will be made known any chance I get
