more super specific but Whumpee who is taken in by villains. But instead of the expected— they get soft treatment. Firm— ‘you’ll stay here, and follow our orders. But this is your home too.’ but kind, and gentle. They make sure Whumpee has everything they need, even if they’re fighting them every step of the way.

btw, toby is slendermans favorite.
that is. not good. for him.
brim kate and the rake all just have to deal with pretty normal slendersickness. (the rake had some extrenuating circumstances). but toby has to deal with slenderman occationally taking full control of his body.
slenderman is an intra-dimentional being (intra because he is the fabric of reality, he is natural. he is always and forever. somewhere) hes made up of a mycelium of black goop, under the forest, the forest being every forest. and that goop is what pulls together into the figure slenderman.
toby is more immortally dead then the others. because hes not inhibited by silly things like broken bones and pain. he can keep standing essentially until all of his joints are ruined, because he can just splint his bones if they're too broken to stand on. so long as he can bend his knees he can keep going. keep following.
slenderman bestowed toby with more supernaturalities in his undeath than the others. kate got speed, brian got less need for sleep, the rake got near perfect balance. tim never finds out what he has. toby got a little bit of everything. hes fast, and unnaturally strong, he can climb and walk on tree branches, and he can stay up for 72 hours before he starts feeling any drawbacks (brian can theoretically go for a week without cognative decline).
toby is slendermans apparatus for dealing with zalgoids.
sometimes he'll randomly be suspended in the air by bloody black tentacles that have broken from under his skin and wake up in a whole new place surrounded by blood.
