You and Denki sat on a bench in the park, enjoying some ice cream. It was a nice, warm day but the shade of the tree the two of you sat under prevented either of you from becoming uncomfortable. A relaxed atmosphere hung between the two of you as you ate your frozen treats. Or at least, that’s what the both of you tried to make it seem like.

After all, this was your first date with Denki.

He had asked you out earlier that week and you were surprised at how quickly you agreed to go. You’d had your eye on the blonde for a while already but you didn’t really expect him to ask you out. Despite your worry that your quick answer had made you seem like a desperate fool, Denki nearly jumped in excitement and quickly agreed a date and time with you.

That’s how the two of you had ended up here. For the first date, you both had agreed on a nice, relaxing walk through the park. Nothing too big or too long, just something to test the waters. Enough time, space and reasons for either of you to leave in case you became uncomfortable.

The date itself, however, had been far from uncomfortable. Denki had done most of the talking, keeping a pleasant and casual conversation going, yet giving you enough space to take over or join in whenever you wanted. He had insisted on paying for the ice cream as well. The date had been going on for quite a while already and the two of you had agreed to call it a day after the ice cream had been finished.

While eating ice cream, you caught Denki glancing over at you a few times. Each time he caught you looking, he smiled at you and quickly turned his gaze back in front of him, a slight blush visible on his cheek. It was a rather endearing sight.

Once the ice cream was finished, you and Denki walked the last bit towards the edge of the park, where the two of you would part ways for the day. Once you arrived there, Denki smiled and noticeably got a little nervous but he spoke anyway.

“So, here were are. Euhm, thanks for today! I had a lot of fun!” “Me too, maybe we can do this again sometime?” “I’d love to!”

Denki’s smile and enthusiasm made you smile as well. The two of you stood there for a little while, neither of you wanting to be the first one to walk away. Denki laughed nervously before he asked:

“Is this the moment that we kiss?”

The question combined with your own nervousness made you burst out in laughter. Denki smiled as well and rubbed the back of his head, thinking he had asked something stupid. The gesture didn’t go unnoticed by you and you quickly spoke up to ease his mind.

“Only if you want to.”

Denki stared at you for a few seconds, his hand slowly lowering back to his side. Once the words sank in, he smiled and took a step closer to you.

“I would honestly love that.”

You also took a step forward at his answer, closing the distance between the two of you. After a short moment where the two of just looked and smiled at each other, Denki leaned in and pressed his lips to yours. It wasn’t a long kiss nor a very confident one, but it was sweet nonetheless. After a few short seconds he pulled away and smiled at you.

“Well… I’ll see you next time then?” “Yes, see you next time.”

Denki smiled at you one last time before he quickly turned around and started walking, worried that you’d see how red his face had gotten. He dared look over his shoulder at you one last time to wave at you before he rounded the corner and disappeared out of sight.

Breaking up with Bakugo 

Falling in love is a wonderful thing. Falling out of love? The absolute worst.

Nothing as painful as just realizing the feelings you used to have just aren’t there anymore. You desperately tried to spark the fire again, knowing Bakugo still felt that way. Knowing he still cared. But it was of no use. 

And thus came something that was way harder than any of the hero-training you had ever done.

You usually spent so much time together in private, but with all the studying, training, and other hero-duties, it was harder than expected to get some time to talk to Bakugo. 

And on top of that, you kept postponing it, the scenario playing out so many times in your head, you pondered the many possible outcomes, not liking a single one. 

You had no idea how he would react. Bakugo could get explosive, but never towards you. Then again, he never really had a reason to get really mad at you. 

When you finally got him alone, you couldn’t get the words out. You opened your mouth multiple times to say something but they all got stuck in your throat, never making it past your lips. 

It worried him. What was happening? You had seemed down for a while, but he had figured the tiredness had gotten to you, the classes at UA being exhausting for every single one of them. But now you were standing in front of him, tears threatening to spill without any explanations so far, and he was so worried. 

“y/n. Are you hurt? Do I need to beat up someone for you? Did Deku say something wrong? I’ll punch him for you just say th-”

You interrupted him and spilled all the things you wanted to say. It was a waterfall of words, and by the time you were done, the tears were rolling over your cheeks. You felt so guilty. He had done nothing wrong. You had assured him of that. It was just gone. 

You turned around, running straight towards the dorms where you locked yourself in your room. 

Bakugo had reached out for your arm but missed. He didn’t run after you. Too stunned to react as fast as he usually would. Too speechless to call out your name. To make you stop. 

He could only move after you had long disappeared from his sight. Ignoring the rules, going straight to the girls’ dorms, knocking on your door for what seemed like hours. 

“y/n. Please open up.” “y/n don’t do this” “y/n.. y/n… please”

He was not mad, not yelling. It terrified you and broke your heart to hear how sorrowful he sounded. You didn’t open up. There was nothing to say. 

It was better this way.

S – Supper – What kind of dinner would they make for Christmas/New Year?  

Make? Haha. Good joke. Dabi is not making anything. This man’s tastebuds are dead and he doesn’t give a shit about Christmas or New Year. The fanciest you’re gonna get is takeout. And I don’t mean some nice takeout. I mean fast-food takeout. The fattier, the better. Dabi is one of those people that can eat whatever he wants and not gain a single kilogram. He just burns those calories. If it’s not fast-food, it’s some kind of microwave dinner. Christmas and New Year will not change Dabi’s terrible choice in food, nor his habits.

He doesn’t really care about dinner in general. He usually eats alone, so why bother cooking a full meal? On top of that, Dabi never learned how to cook so even if he gave it a shot, it would be terrible. The man can throw together a sandwich, microwave a hamburger and throw a pizza in the oven, but that’s about it.

If he really had to pick something aside from the usual though, and someone else would make it, he’d like a simple family-style dinner. It’s nostalgic.

Park date with Denki & s/o 

“Look if I walk into anything I swear to god I’ll kill you” 

You were walking unsteadily, hands out in front of you, one of them being held by your boyfriend, who was now questioning his decision of blindfolding you for a surprise. 

Kaminari had come out of nowhere with a blindfold in his hands, and a big grin on his face, promising you a ‘surprise’ if you put it on and went with him. 

As much as you loved your dorky boyfriend, you were a little scared of the whole thing being a prank. You got even more worried when you felt the outside air hit your skin. 

You had been walking for a while now. And nearly tripped three times. 

“Denki please, where are we going? I feel like we have been walking for hours."

“A little more patience y/n”, he said, and you can practically hear him grinning, “we’re almost there.”

It took you a while to adjust your eyes to the sudden light when he carefully took the blindfold off and you realized, much to your surprise, that you were in the park near the school. 

“wha…” you looked at your boyfriend in surprise, he was just smiling from ear to ear, gesturing at a little blanket in the grass with a basket on top of it. Your eyes lit up in excitement. 

“It’s been a while since we’ve had a proper date…? Mina and Sero helped me out a bit.” His cheeks were turning a rosy color as he was now second-guessing his idea. “If you don’t like it we can just go somew-” 

You interrupted him with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. “I love it!” 

You grabbed his hand and sat down with him on the blanket. He opened up the basket and put some of your favorite dishes in front of you. They were homemade, you could tell, and you had to physically stop yourself from squealing. 

“We did our best, and I promise they taste better than they look!” 

By now he was positively blushing and your cheeks were starting to hurt from smiling so hard at him. What did you do to deserve this amazing adorable guy? 

The afternoon was filled with eating the snacks, feeding each other, loads of laughter and quick stolen kisses and many cuddles.

It was already getting dark when you softly suggested going back to the dorms. Tomorrow was another day of training after all. 

You were laying with your head in his lap, his hands softly playing with your hair, tracing your forehead, cheeks, lips… it took you the greatest effort to propose going back and it was made even more difficult because he didn’t seem too eager to be leaving either. 

“let’s stay a little longer, they don’t need us at the dorms anyway.” 

You couldn’t help but giggle. “Okay, but will you carry me back as well? I’m sure to fall asleep if you keep doing that.” His hand stopped his ministrations for a bit and your eyes shut open. 

“That didn’t mean you had to stop doing that.” He continued as you closed your eyes again, snuggling close and getting even more comfortable. 

“A little longer then.” 

Tummy full of snacks, a heart full of love, this had been the perfect afternoon.

Henlo UwU-chan, I know I’ve been going through your requests really fast, but I really needed to write something light-hearted, and this one was the first one to pop up in my brain. One king explosion murder behind a phone, enjoy! 

Katsuki Bakugo in Customer service - fluff / humor 

Okay, let’s be clear. Bakugo would never voluntarily work in customer service. Yes, he wants to be the top hero. Yes, he wants to help people. No, he does not want to tell Karen that she has no right to return the goods she bought 7 years ago without a receipt. 

It would either be an internship to be more compassionate, orchestrated by Aizawa-sensei, his mom forcing him to take a side-job or just an elaborate prank. 

Anyhow, Bakugo is an overachiever. He pushes to be the best. In everything. That includes customer service. Which is harder than anything he’s done before. 

He is great at helping people and coming up with the right solutions, but the problem is: you’re not allowed to yell said solutions at the customer. 

They would have to put his microphone on minimal input just so the customer doesn’t get deafened by him the moment they ask a question. 

Bakugo has zero tolerance for idiotic questions, and will probably tell the customer straight up they’re asking dumb stuff. 

“Ma’am if you’re surprised the $20 deal is $20 dollars I suggest you go back to primary school to pick up some basic reading skills.”  

“Yes sir, if you refuse to pay you will get into trouble. It’s called theft. You are a criminal. Thank you. Bye.“

“Yes I believe that that doesn’t work. You know why? You didn't f.. You didn’t order it. It's not there. IT CANNOT WORK IF IT ISN’T THERE.”

“Wireless means without a wire SIR.” 

He’s toning it down a little, doesn’t want to lose his job, but it’s hard. His coworkers have stopped tallying the number of times something got thrown across the room or a wall got punched. 

If it’s in one of those call centers with a bunch of people close to each other, they will probably get a separate room for Bakugo, just so his yelling doesn’t interrupt the other calls. 

Now, you’d think with such an ‘explosive’ (hehe) personality, Bakugo wouldn’t be able to keep the job for a long time, but it takes the manager about 3 days to figure out that Katsuki has an asset that could actually help his coworkers a lot.

Whenever there is an aggressive customer, a rude customer, an abusive customer, they get on Bakugo’s call list. He gets a bit of a pass on rudeness, within reasonable limits and within weeks, the amount of rude calls has lessened significantly. 

“YOU WANNA YELL AT ME, SIR? I CAN YELL FOR A LONGER TIME AND I AM LOUDER.”

“I know toddlers that can come up with better insults sir” 

“Good luck finding that business for the same price somewhere else lady” 

After work, Bakugo trains for at least two hours, all that pent up frustration needs to find a way out. Let’s fear for the poor person that has volunteered to be his sparring partner. It is Kirishima.

Grabbing your favourite game, you made yourself comfortable and got ready to play. It had been a rather eventful day, and you had been looking forward to some rest and relaxation. Before you left the physical world and entered the world of video games, you saw your phone screen light up. A message from Denki had come in.

‘Hey, you busy?’ you put the game to the side and quickly replied. ‘No, what’s up?’ ‘I got sick today. I’ve been sleeping all day so now I can’t sleep anymore, but I’m feeling a little lonely?’ ‘Want me to come over?’ ‘Yes please.’

Shutting your game down, you went over all things you needed to bring before leaving. Once you were sure you weren’t missing anything, you left your house and headed over to Denki’s house. Despite having your calm night in disturbed, you weren’t annoyed at all. He could’ve asked you to come over, no sickness or loneliness or nothing, and you still would’ve. He was your boyfriend after all, you’d rarely get sick of his company. Any excuse to go see him was a good one.

When you were only 1 street away from him, you sent him a message saying you were almost there. Not long after you walked into his street, you saw the door open. Denki greeted you from a reasonable distance while wearing a mask.

“Hey Denki. Are you alright?” “Yes, I just don’t want you to get sick too.” “Alright, that’s good. Did you have something in mind to do?” “anything goes, as long as it’s lowkey.” “I think I know just the thing. Are you nauseous?” “Not really, I’m mostly just very weak and my throat hurts.” “Great. I’m gonna go grab some snacks and a movie. Can you manage to build a pillow fort?”

Denki’s face lit up at the question and he nodded. You smiled back at him and went to the kitchen to raid his snacks cupboard. The next stop was the shelf in his bedroom that held all of his favourite movies. After picking out one you liked as well, you headed back to the living room.

When you arrived there, you were met with a rather amusing sight. Denki was about to finish the pillow fort when the whole thing caved in on him. A few seconds after that happened, a hand popped out from the pile of pillows and blankets and pushed them aside so his head could pop out as well. Seeing his confused expression, you couldn’t hold back your laughter any longer. Denki could see the humour of the situation as well and started laughing too, though his laughter ended in a coughing fit. You pulled him out of the pile and helped him rebuild the whole thing, this time a bit sturdier so it wouldn’t cave in on either of you.

“Which movie did you pick?” Denki asked. You simply held up the case of the movie, and you noticed the sparkle in his eyes. Good choice, apparently. He made himself comfortable in the pillow fort as you put on the movie. Taking the bowl of snacks from the table you joined him in the fort.

Both of you chatted casually during the movie, you had both seen it already after all, Denki made you watch all of his favourites pretty early into the relationship. It was nice. There was commentary about the movie, there were random snippets of how your weeks went, nothing heavy. You’d almost forget your boyfriend was sick.

You noticed his eyes starting to droop near the end of the movie. Can’t sleep anymore, he said. Lies, he just wanted to see you. Not that you were mad about it, if anything, it amused you and flattered you.

Once the movie was over, you looked over at Denki, almost asleep now.

“How about I go home now and you go get some more rest?” “I’m not tired, Y/N.” “Bullshit babe, I can see your eyes droop. Did you know your body heals faster when you sleep? Just give in.” “Fine... I’m sorry for making you come over for just one movie...” “Hey, no apologising for that. I came over because I wanted to, and I had fun. Did you have fun?” “Yes, of course.” “Then all is fine. I’ll go now, keep me updated on how you feel, ok?” “I will.” “Good. Now you go to bed before you fall asleep on the couch, I’ll tidy things up here a little bit so you don’t have to deal with that in the morning, and then I’ll leave.” “You don’t have to-” “I want to. Now go to bed, or do you need me to tuck you in?” you teased with a grin. “If I say yes, will you do it?” Denki asked, sounding dead serious. “Euhm... well, yes I would, I guess.” “Then yes.”

Amused by the situation, you followed him up to his room and tucked him into bed. Sure, it was a bit of an unusual request, but it was kinda cute. After giving him one kiss on his forehead, you left his room.

You cleaned up the table, put the bowls with the other dishes and tore down the fort, putting all pillows and blankets back where they belonged. As you closed the door, you looked at the window Denki’s room to make sure the lights were out. They were. Starting to walk back home, you took out your phone and earbuds to turn on some music on your walk back. As you unlocked your phone, you saw one message from Denki.

‘Oh right, I forgot to say something before you left the room. I love you. Goodnight, Y/N.’
