THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION. IT IN NO WAY OR FORM ROMANTICIZES, PROPOGATES OR JUSTIFIES THE ACTS OF CHARACTERS OR ANY REAL LIFE PERSONALITY. IT IS SOLELY WRITTEN IN CONTEXT OF THE CHARACTERS OF THE MOVIE.
You checked your watch-4:25 pm…. Still 5 minutes to go for the lecture to get over. The longest 5 minutes of the day.
Ever since that night at the club, you and Uzair had gotten closer than ever. He was now an integral part of your everyday life. Your mornings started with his call, he came to pick you up for college sharing homemade breakfast with you, you would text him during lunch break and he would come to pick you up after your classes. Honestly, you just wanted to spend every moment with him and suspected he felt the same way. Yalina had complained how Rehman bhai had given extra work to Hamza as Uzair was ‘Occupied’, more often than not because of you. These small moments spent with him were the highlight of your day, and it would not be an exaggeration that he was also the highlight of your life.
Ofcourse, all of this happened very discreetly as you didn't want anyone to know that you were head over heels for a man, that too Uzair Baloch. Yeah he was nice to you and all that but you had a reputation to maintain - You were a No Mard, Zero Sardard kinda girl! And an avid couple hater as well. Despite being a secret hopeless romantic you would curse any and every lovey dovey couple in your college and outside as well. You friends well…. though did not buy the act, you still had to keep it up.
But as the saying went ‘Ishq aur mushq chupaye nahi chupta’ your friends sniffed around your unusual behavior and kept a close watch on you ever since. You had suddenly stopped cursing your everyday minor inconveniences on Hamza, stopped throwing shade at blissfully unaware couples walking by, and had actually shifted from being glued to crime thrillers novels to being glued to your phone.
Aina nudged Shifa and whispered “Dekh phir se time check kar rahi hai. Dus second bhi nahi hue abhi!”
“Tera aur Salima ka shaq sahi lag raha hai. Pakka kuch toh baat hai. Warna isse kabse forensic ke lectures mein time dekhna padne laga? Aur Yalina toh hai hi iski biwi toh woh toh apna muh kholne se rahi”
Shifa pointed out.
“Aaj Yalina bhi nahi hai toh sahi mauka hai. Iska raaz pata karke rahenge” stated Aina.
As soon as the bell went off, you packed your stuff and beamed at your gang
“Chalein?”
They faked smiles and followed you. They had a million questions planned but decided it was best to make you confess.
Shifa, looking at Salima, said in a voice loud enough for everybody to hear
“Aaj main tumhe ghar chod deti hoon Y/n. Yalina bhi nahi hai aur dhup kitni hai. Salima ko bhi tumhare ghar ke pass kaam hai toh dono ko saath chod deti hoon”
Oh no! Had it been Yalina with you this problem wouldn't have come up in the first place. She was your designated alibi. You were scrambling for an excuse when Salima added
“Ha aaj kal toh tum apni Souten ki bhi burai nahi karti. Issi bahane thoda ‘Hamza Haye Haye’ bhi sun lenge!”
All of them let out very performative giggles while you were sweating bullets.
The three girls laughed among themselves in unison. However, you had to come up with an excuse soon. Just when you were thinking of all possible excuses, you and your friends stepped out of college only to be greeted by a sight too familiar to you.
Uzair stood right in front of your college gate, leaning against his jeep. Dressed in black pathani with leather jacket and signature aviators, he looked sinfully handsome. Drool-worthy even.
Salima's comment jarred you from your trance “Yeh handsome banda kon hai yaar!”
Shifa smacked her head
“Muh band kar, Rehman dakait ka Bhai, Uzair baloch hai. Goli khaani hai kya tujhe?”
You however did not care about your friend thirsting for your boyfriend. You had more pressing matters at hand. You decided to escape in order to avoid him and unnecessary questions from your friends, and exposing your baby-out-of-vagina-fresh relationship. Just as you turned your back to bid your friends a quick goodbye and bolt, he raised his hand and called you out by your name. You closed your eyes tight only to open them and see your friends staring at you in shock, surprise and disdain.
Aina raised her eyebrow in question
“Yeh Uzair Baloch, tujhe kyun bula raha hai?”.
The other two girls looked at you horrified while you smiled weakly. ‘SURPRISE!’ you said trying to pretend as if all this was an elaborate hard launch plan for your relationship though they were far from amused.
You turned back to walk up to Uzair who met you half way to drop a kiss on your head and murmur ‘Kaisa tha aaj ka din jaan?’ to which you genuinely wanted to say just like Hamza's face-
Shit!
Your friends looked at you two as if you both were India and Pakistan PM singing love songs in a flower garden.
“Ek minute ruko”
You said as you made your way back to your gang.
“Kabse chal raha hai yeh?”
asked Aina.
“Thode time se” you mumble.
“Thoda matlab, kitna? Do minute wala thoda ya do hafte wala thoda?” Salima asked sarcastically.
“Woh thoda zyada wala. Dedh mahine waala thoda.”
“Wah Y/n wah! Aina koi toh bol raha tha ke main ladkon ke chakkar mein nahi padti. Bekaar ki faltu cheezein hai. Pyaar mohabbat sab bakwas hai, wagerah, wagerah?
Shifa mimicked you bitching about love and relationships (albeit very poorly).
“Mujhe toh pehle hi pata tha ye jo nahi nahi karte hain, yahi phir majnu jaise hote hain”
“Aur iski Laila bhi kon hai?! UZAIR BALOCH!”
“Gunda pata liya isne! Bilkul yahi ummed thi tujhse”
Shifa was not amused.
You sighed defeated and pleaded “Aisa toh mat bolo? Bas kardo please. Tamasha mat karo. Main baad mein sab bataungi, sacchi! Please.”
You tried to give them your best puppy eyes.
But Salima's brain was caught up daydreaming.
“Ab toh lyari mein free ki shopping pakki kyunki Uzair Baloch ki saaliyan hai hum”
She exclaimed excitedly and made her way to Uzair.
The carefully curated nonchalant, male basher image that you had built so painstakingly, over the years was successfully destroyed because your boyfriend decided it was time for your friends to know about you two. He greeted them in that charming way of his and thanked them for taking care of you. Fucking charmer!
Aina initiated the further conversation
“Uzair bhai agar aapko iske kuch bhi secrets janne ho toh contact us, please. We will be more than happy to help. Badi sakht laundi banti hai par devdas dekhke roti hai.”
Shit shit shit! Now you are a softy with a jelly heart, there goes your perfectly curated outdoor personality.
Salima adds, “Aap ne kya karke isse pataya Uzair Bhai? Please bataien! Aanthvi mein ek ladke ne isse propose kiya toh isne joota phenk ke maara tha us bechare ko.”
Uzair, amused at these revelations, bent and whispered in your ear ‘Aur mujhe goli lag gayi... Promotion?’
Your face flushed in a furious blush, not only because of his words but at the public intimacy. You shot daggers at him but he was having too much fun at your predicament.
“Tumhare itne saare dost hain phir kyun keh rahi thi ki sirf yalina hai?” Uzair chimed in.
The girls gasped in offence. Oh you definitely had to face the firing squad tomorrow. In your defence, you said it just to make your decision to sabotage Hamza by stealing his best friend more believable and a motivated decision rather than a ‘wanted to do it and did it’ kinda decision.
Uzair then held your waist to drag you closer to him. His chin just leaning on your head. Oh this man was going to be the death of you!
Aina teased,
“Arre arre, ye kya hua gaal pe,Y/n? Blush!?!”
You replied with a deadpan expression
“Khooni macchar ne kaat liya mujhe, bakwaas se jo tum log kabse kar rahe ho.”
Salima added “Are yaar ab Rehan na Y/n ko extra notes dega, na humara canteen ka bill bharega. Bechare senior ji, unka toh patta lagne se pehle hi kat gaya!”
Uzair's eyes widened and he turned to look at you, in question. Before he could ask you anything, you dragged him towards his jeep before mouthing to your friends ‘You All Are So Dead!’
To which they simply smiled and yelled, “Enjoy your day, Y/n!”
____________
You huff in frustration as, to your further frustration, Uzair opened the door for you making Aina whistle. You sit in the Jeep and put on your seatbelt meanwhile Uzair slips into the driver's seat, looking at you in question.
“Kya hua? Chalo na ab!” You said.
“Main soch raha tha hum kahin bahr chalein aaj?”
“Achha socha. Nahi.”
His smile drops quickly.
“Kyun?”
“Kyun? kya kyun? Ghar pe kya bataungi? Aaj toh Yalina bhi nahi aayi college. Sunein chachajaan main apne naye boyfriend ke saath sair-sapate pe nikal rahi hoon, aap apna dekh lein.”
You mimic talking on the phone.
“Are toh aisa keh do ki kisi dost ke saath jaa rahi ho! Sab mujhe hi batana hai?”
“Tumhe kya hai, tumhe toh bas kehna hai aur tumhare ghar waale dusra sawal nahi poochenge, mere ghar waale hazaar sawal poochenge!”
“Kya matlab hai tumhara?! Main Koi awara nahi hoon jo mere gharwaalon ko fark nahi padega. Bhai bhabhi bahr gaye hain iss liye maine socha ki chalte hain kahin lekin tumhe aana hi nahi hai!”
You sigh in defeat.
“Accha awara thodi kaha maine. Main yalina ke ghar hoon aisa keh doongi bas. Naraaz mat ho jao!”
You pull his cheek to pacify him. Distracting him from the indirect jab.
After convincing your chachi that sharing today's notes with Yalina was super urgent and important and had to be done today itself, she reluctantly agreed to let you go only if you were to be dropped home and that too before ten.
“Accha lekin Lyari mein nahi, mere moholle waali kisi khaala ne dekh liya na toh mujhe kafan pehnne mein der nahi lagegi.”
You reasoned seriously.
“Pehle toh phir aisi ghatiya baat mat karna, aur main waise bhi tumhe sheher le jaane wala tha. Hum pehli baar jaa rahe hain, khaas hona chahiye.”
His words warmed your heart and cheeks, but they irritated you more because the butterflies in your stomach, which were the size of dinosaurs, still felt foreign to you.
“Flirt mat karo samjhe. Mujhe sharam aati hai.”
He smirks, shaking his head.
“Main toh tumhe chhed bhi nahi raha, tum bas yun hi sharmaye jaa rahi ho. Waise phone pe toh kabhi kuch kehne mein sharam nahi aai tumhe? Na uss din meri goad mein baithne mein sharam aayi, na mera haath apne-”
“Uzair!”
You scream in endeared frustration, shutting his mouth off with your palm. Your face felt as if it was on fire.
______________________
The restaurant he took you to was easily one of the poshest and most expensive ones around. You felt extremely underdressed in your light blue flared jeans and a kurti, it wasn't the worst but you looked like a tired college student, which you were but still it felt awkward. Uzair however directly approached the manager, and from what you deduced standing a bunch of meters away from him, he was asking for a table for two in the private section.
The private section they actually took you to was well….very posh, too posh. The table was set under a chandelier glowing in soft light, there lit candles, and roses in the vase. Uzair pulled out your chair for you and you sat down thanking him. The waiter set the menu down as Uzair sat and left you both alone.
“Kaisi jagah hai? Acchi hai na?”
He asked in enthusiasm.
“Haan, bohot acchi hai. Kaafi shaandar hai.”
You smiled sincerely but could not match his enthusiasm.
“Kya hua? Tumhe pasand nahi aayi? Hum kahin aur chal sakte hain-”
His smile dropped, you could see the doubts creep on him.
“Uzair, dekho main jooth nahi kahungi, itni mehengi jagahon par main zyada ati nahi hoon. Yalina laati hai kabhi kabhar woh bhi taala na jaa sake tab hi. Lekin humari baat alag hai, tum itne dil se mujhe yahan laye ho, toh mujhe ussi baat se matlab hai. Jagah se koi fark nahi padta, tum ho bas kaafi hai.”
You reach to squeeze his hand.
“Devdas nahi lekin Gaalib toh ho tum mohobbat mein. Aainda hum thodi si humare jaisi jagah chalege. Woh toh bas rehman bhai bhabhi ko yahan le kar aksar aate hain toh maine socha tumhe bhi shayad acchi lage.”
“Tumhari bhabhi burger bacchi thi kya? Bura mat man’na lekin mujhe hamesha lagta tha ki woh itni khoobsurat hain- Rehman bhai bhi hain- lekin unko dekh ke lagta hai ki shayad woh alag mohol mein rahi hongi.”
“Tum sahi ho. Bhabhi ke Abbu bade export company ke maalik hain. Ek martaba Bhai ko unse kuch kaam tha, Bhabhi ke Abbu ne madad karne se saaf mana kar diya, phir kya tha, jab Bhai ne unke ghar kuch logon ko paison aur thodi si……dhamki di. Bhabhi ko gussa aa gaya ki unhike ghar mein ghuske unhike abbu ko dhamki di. Tab toh Bhai itne badi shaksiyat nahi the, bhabhi factory pohoch hai aur bohot baatein sunayi, Bhai ne kuch nahi kaha aur unhe aakhir mein chai ke liye poocha taki ‘maafi’ maang sakein. Bhabhi ne pata nahi kyun haan bol diya aur phir bas dono ko mohobbat ho gayi. Bhabhi ke gharwale nahi maan rahe the- unke hisaab se Bhai bas ek sadak chaap gunde the lekin Bhabhi ne sab ke khilaaf ja kar Bhai ko chuna. Main tab pandrah ka tha.”
You sigh dreamily, your face in your hand. He looked so cute ranting about his family lore under the warm lighting. You loved that he talked to you so freely when according to Yalina he barely talked to anyone outside of his family.
You kicked his leg under the table.
“Sorry”
You said without any remorse. You kicked his leg again and this time though didn't say sorry.
“Tum mujhe maar kyun rahi ho?”
You roll your eyes and caress his ankle with your sock clad foot.
“Kabhi kabhi mujhe shak hota hai ki tum mujhe mohobbat toh karti bhi ho na ya sach mein kisi gang ka hissa ho?”
“Mujhe aise hi aata hai, lena hai toh lo warna-”
“Warna kya?”
“Warna main rone lag jaaungi aur kya. Accha aage batao apne baare mein.”
He then continued reminiscing about Rehman and Ulfat's marriage after a long struggle to get her family to agree to the alliance, the birth of Naieem and Faizal and how his life changed from an orphan to a man with a family of five.
——————
While you were digging in your dessert when Uzair asked
“Accha yeh batao yeh Rehan kon hai?”
Before you could answer, Uzair's eyes widened in horror and he blurted out
“Marr Gaye!”
You were about to look behind to see what had shocked Uzair but he stopped you. Hiding his face with his one hand, he said,
“Peeche mat dekhna par Rehman bhai, Ulfat Bhabhi aur bacche hai yahan!”
Your fork dropped and cluttered against the dish.
“KYA?! Uzair ab kya karenge?”
He looked around as if scanning the room for an escape plan.
“Suno, peeche ke raaste se chalte hai. Jaldi!” he said with urgency.
You both stood up and he handed the bill and a very generous tip to the manager and led you by the service exit.
As soon as you stepped out and away from the restaurant you both sighed in relief and laughed.
“Bach gaye aaj, par mera cake toh reh gaya”
“Kamal hai tumhe cake ki padi hai aur andar pakade jaate toh mera murrabba ban jaata” he pouted.
But you loved desserts and were sad to go home without one.
He looked at you lovingly, throwing his arm around your shoulders and said
“Ek kulfi khane jitna toh time hoga na apke pass doctor sahiba?”
That instantly perked your mood. You lean up to kiss his cheek.
“Tum toh best boyfriend ho! Lekin kulfi main khilaungi!”
After a back and forth for legit five minutes he agreed to let you pay.
So here you both stood in front of a road side kulfi vendor, cherishing the sweet treat.
You both were basking in the cool night breeze caressing your hair and warm blushing cheeks. Leaning against his Jeep, both of you stood closer than publicly acceptable but you didn't care. Lost in your own world you offered Uzair a taste of your strawberry kulfi just when a Maroon Ford Zodiac curbed by the footpath, windows rolled down.
“Chachu! mujhe bhi ek kulfi chahiye par pista wali”
Faisal chimes from the car.
You looked at Uzair whose face had become as pale as a sheet of paper. ‘Faisal’ he mouthed to you. You both slowly turned around to see Rehman and Ulfat with Naieem and Faisal in the backseat.
“Theek keh rahe the aap Rehman, woh lamba khamba humara Uzair hi tha”
“Lyari mein kulfi milna bandh ho gayi thi ya ab Hamza ka saath acchi nahi lagta? Aur yeh kon hai?”
Asked Rehman.
“Bhai woh main bas-”
“Raat bohot ho gayi hai. Ghar chhod kar aa inhe aur kal humare ghar lekar aana.”
“Lekin-”
Rehman raises an eyebrow, daring Uzair to reason with him.
“Ji Bhai.”
Uzair sighs in defeat. Their relationship got exposed on the first date itself.
“Bye, Chachi!”
Naieem and Faizal sing in unison.

The way back home was silent until you crossed the boundary of liyari.
“Accha tohhhhhhhh… agle mahine milenge.”
“Kya?”
“Haan! Agle mahine. Mere ek door ki khala jo bohot, bohot door rehti hain unke ghar,uh- unki billi ko bachhe hue hain toh milne jaana hai.”
“Kya bakwaas kar rahi ho- ek minute nahi....nahi, nahi, nahi, nahi! Bhaagne ka sochna bhi mat! Bhai ne ghar bulaya hai kal, aana toh padega.”
“Kya aana padega!? Gundagardi hai kya?! Dekho main tumse beintehaa mohobbat karti hoon lekin mujhe Rehman Dakait ki goli khaane ka koi shaukh nahi hai! Tum apna dekh lo.”
“Kya?!? Tum mujhe akela bhej dogi? Main Bhai ko kya jawab doonga? Aur woh tumhe goli kyun maarenge?”
“Bhool gaye? Jab tumhe goli lagi tho- jis aadmi ne maari, plastic bag mein le gaye the usse kabristan. Agar unhe pata chala ki meri wajah se lagi hai mujhe ek choti si goli toh maarange hi na?!”
“Maine kitni baar kaha isme tumhara koi kasoor nahi hai. Meri bewakoofi thi! Unko aur sabko tum bohot acchi lagogi.Ghar toh tumhe aana padega warna meri khaal udher lenge Bhai”
“Accha agar main mar jaaun toh tum kamse kam do saal ke liye toh kisi se mohobbat mat karna theek hai?”
“Tumhara dimag seedha marne-maarne ke hi nateeje nikalta hain kya? Kuch nahi hoga. Kal college ke baad lene aaunga. Ab toh gate par lene aa sakta hoon na?”
“Ab aadhi Lyari ko pata chal hi gaya hai! Tumse koi baat chupi reh paati hai? Baarat le aao, meri bala se. Mere ghar waale bhi meri khatir-daari kar lein!”
You open the door and grab your bag to leave but he holds your wrist, tugging you back.
“Baraat le aaun?”
“Istaara tha! Sach mein thodi-”
“Toh nahi laaun?”
“Abhi nahi.”
You smile at him and blush a little.
“Kal hum mein se koi ek bewa ho gya toh?” you let that thought linger in the air.
_____________________________
The next day you are all pins and needles at the thought of facing Rehman Dakait.
“Accha sun Y/n, agar tujhe kuch ho gaya toh main tera purple sharara le loon, please?”
Aina said with a deadpan face.
Salima chimes in
“Are mare hue se kya puchna, jo hai bas apna hi hai ab”.
The three of them, along with Yalina, start laughing as you exit the classroom. You give a look of betrayal to Yalina who stops laughing.
“Y/n fikar mat karo, Rehman bhai bohot acche hai. Sab tumko pasand karenge”
Yalina assures you.
“Aur agar na kare toh?”
This unsaid question had been bugging you since last evening, heck ever since your relationship with Uzair began.
Having always been a responsibility or an obligation to your own family, you really wanted Uzair's family to love you and not feel like you were imposed on them. Like how you felt about being imposed on your chacha chachi.
You make your way to the main gate where Uzair is waiting for you in his jeep, accompanied by Hamza. Great! Jale pe brine solution!
“All the best Y/n! Zinda wapas aana!”
Your girl gang chimed in chorus at you.
You sigh as Hamza gets down and slips into the backseat, with Yalina. For once he is not teasing you which scares you more. Uzair drives silently though he has been holding your hand all this time. The moment the jeep stops in front of Haveli, Hamza and Yalina step out giving Uzair and you a private moment.
“Ab tumhare hawale vatan saathiyon.”
You mock salute Uzair, and continue.
“Accha suno na, mera woh chota sa udhar baaki hai Aalam bhai ki dukan pe, chuka dena. Mere janaze par unhi ko juice banane ke liye bulana-”
"Phir wohi mazzak. Darne ki zaroorat nahi. Bhabhi ne kaha hai sab sambhal lengi. Theek hai Jaan?” he asks and you can't help but nod. He kisses you on the forehead.
“Waise yeh aasmani neela raang tumpe bohot jachta hai. Bohot khoobsurat lag rahi ho iss salwar suit mein.” and you forget all the problems for a second, lost in his eyes.
So now you are sitting in the baloch haveli living room, surrounded by Ulfat and Naieem who are beaming at your presence but it is Faisal who has been your companion as the little boy had you distracted by showing his car collection and talking about taking his chachi to his next football match.
“Toh kya karti ho tum aur aage kya karne ka irada hai”
asks Ulfat while serving you tea.
“Bhabhi yeh medical student hai, aur aage bacchon ki doctor banna chahti hai. Poore wazifa pe padh rahi hai aur bohot mehnat karti hai”
Uzair says with pride. You can't help but blush at how proudly your man is showing you off.
Ulfat is amused and is about to reply when Rehman's voice booms in
“Isse khud doctor ki zaroorat hai warna tujhse pyaar kaise kar liya?”
You put your tea cup down and get up, unsure of what to do.
Ulfat tsks “Rehman bacchi ko na sataein. Aur waise bhi kya kharabi hai humare Uzair mein?”
Rehman chuckles. Ulfat suddenly turns towards you and asks, “ Ek minute! Kahi tum hi toh woh Heena nahi jo Uzair ko call kiya karti thi?”
Oh No! Time to run.
“Ji ab mujhe jaana hoga, mere imtehan chal rahe hai. Aap sabse milke bohot accha laga.”
You let out the fakest laugh in your life and look around for your bag to bolt from there.
“Par exams toh ek mahine pehle hi khatam hue the na? Phir aa gaye? Tumhe padhate bhi hain ya imtehaan hi lete rehte hain?”
Uzair asks cluelessly. You roll your eyes at his blabbering mouth. How this man became a dreaded gangster is beyond you.
Amused, Rehman cocks an eyebrow and asks,
“Padahai ki thi ya isse batein hi kari hai? Pass ho jaogi?”
Words flew out of your mouth before you could process anything,
“Ha Rehman Bhai! Matlab muft mein aap sab ki haddiyan theek kar saku utna toh pass ho hi jaungi-”
Naieem looks at you with respect, Faisal with adoration, Uzair is horrified on your behalf while Rehman is pleasantly surprised.
But it is Ulfat who is now in awe of you as if she has found a partner, a companion to ferry through the turbulent Baloch waters.
“Yeh mujhe pasand hai! Yahi Uzair ki biwi, iss ghar ki bahu banegi. Bas, Baat khatam.”
Says Ulfat with finality, while you blink your eyes in utter confusion to reorient your brain. You were ready to be shot at sight but here they were talking about marriage?!
Rehman smiles at you and comes forward to hand waddle of cash from his wallet.
“Meri taraf se, Naek, Uzair ki hone wali doctor aur biwi ke liye.”
The tension instantly evaporates and the family settles into a domestic chit chat. Albeit to your annoyance, Uzair tells them how you two ‘connected’. While your face flushed with embarrassment, Uzair felt no such thing. You were almost willing to share the colourful words he had thrown your way during your talks as heena but you didn't want to look like a snitch in front of his family.
“Ek minute, toh iska matlab hai Hamza ko tum dono ke barein mein pata tha?”asks Rehman.
You look at Uzair, who is now very nervous. When you both don't reply, Rehman continues.
“Matlab Y/n woh tumhe satata hai?”
“Matlab jaise ek bhai behen ko parehsan karta hai waise! Par kasam se Rehman bhai, Uzair pe mujhse zyada Hamza haq jamata hai! Meri Yalina bhi uski mera Uzair bhi uska!”
Rehman hums silently and gives you a smile that promises assurance and mischief.

A week later, Yalina enters college in a bad mood.
“Oye, kya hua meri jaan?” you ask her.
“Yaar! Rehman bhai bohot bure hain. Pichle ek hafte se Hamza ki double duty laga di hai. Subah factory aur shaam ko docks pe. Pata nahi konse janam ka badla le rahe hai mere Hamza se” she huffs.
The light bulb goes off in your head and you smile to yourself.
‘Finally koi toh mera badla le raha hai. Ab toh Allah bachaye meri dadhi wali souten ko.’
You smile as you make your way to the class, trailing behind Yalina.
Oh it feels good to be Baloch Bahu!
