One last figure to round out the TAG set for Doom Eternal. This time, featuring the big-boss himself.
It has been a blast working on these models! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4850484

Had so much fun making the first four, decided to keep rolling into four more, taken mostly from The Ancient Gods: Part 2.
Just played through the remastered Quake and felt inspired to model a quick collection of runes from Quake and Dimension of the Machine.
If anyone decides to download them from the link below, I am not responsible for any Eldritch dimensions that may be summoned into your household.

Adding a couple new figures to the collection, this time from Doom (2016).
Especially enjoyed these, since many of the enemies had cool designs that I wish had turned up in Doom Eternal in some fashion.

Assorted Pinky shots for each version.
"The mission: Gather the Runes. Defeat Quake. Save the world."
Quick detour on my current project to test out some ideas I might use later on... and to do yet another version of the runes from Quake. This batch being more consistent with the classic design of the runes as they appear in-game, while still incorporating in some ideas I had for the earlier designs. I used how they appear in Quake Champions, on Ranger's Gladiator set, as a baseline. But, wanted to include some extra detail to enhance the perception that they were powerful artifacts.
Strogg Reclamation Transfer - Alpha-series (Brain)
A non-combat model, designed for reclamation, analysis, and development.
One such unit, transfer RT-A 1997, was undergoing maintenance in the hangar facilities near Cerberon when they came under attack from a lone Earth marine. Partially deconstructed, the unit still attempted to fend off the attacker, only to be destroyed in the process. (Quake 2)
The "Brain" is often dispatched to analyze surviving individuals from a captured region, and salvage any useful information from them. This is achieved by them plugging their three tentacles directly into the host's cerebral cortex, and downloading the information to the Brain's own drives, which are later shared with the Strogg network.
In order to defend themselves, Brains come equipped with a shield generator on their right forearm. This provides them a moderate amount of protection from attackers, should they ever find themselves in combat.
Following the failed invasion of Earth, the Strogg began developing a number of new models to help counter the human forces. Among these, were the Beta-series, which boasted additional front armor, to protect the “salvaged” enemy intelligence, as well as a pair of shoulder mounted laser projectors.
Unfortunately for the Strogg, the majority of the Beta-series units were assigned to their moon base in preparation for the second invasion of Earth. These units, along with their construction facility, were destroyed along with the base. (Quake 2: The Reckoning)
