"THE DOPAMINE OF ELDER GODS COURSES THROUGH MY MIND"
The Quake II Remaster is miles better than the original release in ways I didn't think of before, and even better than the Quake 1 Remaster in terms of netcode and features.
I was playing multiplayer deathmatch with my goofy ahh pals and I found my shots connecting way more accurately compared to Quake 1, where due to playing with people from across the pond, I had to lead my shots constantly, even with hitscan weapons. Quake II thankfully didn't have this problem. Impressive!
I'm hoping Nightdive will update the Quake 1 Remaster with the same netcode wizardry they implemented into freshly released Q2R, along with that neato navigator function that's really great for new players trying to find the way forward.

Just played through the remastered Quake and felt inspired to model a quick collection of runes from Quake and Dimension of the Machine.
