In terms of the strength and skills, the Uzumaki women are so much better than the Uchihas.

From the top of my head, I can mention Mito, Karin, Kushina, Hinata and Himawari from the Uzumakis.

Even if put apart Hinata and Himawari, you have 2 jinchurikis, 3 users of the Uzumaki chains and a heritage of women medic nins/healers. And I'm not even mentioning Karin's mother (who had the same healing ability as Karin) or Nagato's mother (who was a nurse).

From the Uchihas you have Naori (in the anime), Mikoto, Izumi, the women Sasuke calls aunt in his memories, Obito's grandma (in the anime), Sakura and Sarada.

2 of them have no power, (Obito's grandma and Sasuke's "aunt"). 2 of them were talented, but we didn't see much about them (Mikoto was a jounin and Izumi had the sharingan and graduated earlier from the Academy). Then you have Naori, who might be an anime only but she was able to use Izanagi, so she'd be the strongest of the original Uchihas. Aaaand then you have Sakura and Sarada, with Sakura being possibly the strongest canonical Uchiha and Sarada being able to rank higher in the future.

See what I mean? Basically any other clan had more important kunoichis, but the Uchihas were pretty outdated on that sense. It actually makes the transition to Sakura and Sarada even more dramatic.
