I've seen multiple people question why Armand is trying to make Louis apologize and it's genuinely making me lose my mind?
Louis swept into his home city, demanded special treatment and to be exempt from coven rules even though Armand already knew he was a vampire killer and was cutting him slack, then put the coven in direct danger of exposure while absolutely refusing any chance to get the fuck out or join the coven that Armand was offering him, while offering him literally 0 verbal affection, very little physical affection, and not even CONFIRMING that they were in a relationship, WHILE evoking his half-remembered real name that he associates with his years as a child slave in a brothel INTO A BDSM DYNAMIC, THEN when Armand was like "Ok, my coven is gonna mutiny if I don't kill you so I'll have to kill you" he proceeded to burn his life's work down and kill 12/13 people Armand had spend the past 200 years with, THEN he explicitly dragged Armand along in a loveless relationship for 77 years JUST TO SPITE LESTAT, WHILE cheating on him more than 200+ times over and over and over
Did you watch the goddamn show? Louis was fucking awful to Armand.

Saying louis demanded special treatment like it wasn't armand who approached him and immediately started telling him where he's not allowed to go and had Louis feeling compelled to say yes maitre then rejected that from him. Louis actually did want to leave at first and decided to stay for claudia? He disagreed with nearly everything the coven did and armand knew that. And even then? Louis comprised! and it still wasnt enough for that cult of theater kids oh no Louis is reading a book while the same plays we did over 100 times are happening let's hang him.
Armand was very much aware Louis was still healing from lestat. "Did he break you Louis" HE initiates their relationship after THREATENING Louis in the tunnels and knowing he was NOT ready "Louis didnt give him enough affection or labeled their relationship" I wonder why?? You start a relationship with someone "sparing" his life cause Armand is just sooo kind and now Louis clearly feels indebted to him. Did yall think he invited him upstairs because death threats get him hot? Armand kept his secret and spared his life then held it over louis' head I hardly call that a kindess. And let's not forget that just before that bench scene, claudia comes to louis telling him armand threatened her. Pair that with the threat he already made to louis in the episode before.
Can you actually drag someone along in a relationship when that someone has the information necessary to dead the whole situation and refuses to come clean? If he felt some type of way about being used to spite lestat you'd think he'd say something but he didn't cause he was using louis too. Which brings me to the next point, he didnt gaf about louis cheating in his spirals of grief over claudia caused by again, armand. Remember it gave him time to stalk daniel who he loves so very much and didn't really love louis anyway so really, what are we doing here.
Armand wanted an apology for nothing more than he deluded himself into thinking he could keep Louis under his thumb however long he wanted and he's mad Louis threw a wrench in his plans. He's embarrassed that all his lies and manipulation were for nothing and he THINKS he's owed an apology for a prison of his own making
