Poe didn’t make his way closer, not yet, as much as he wanted to--it was up to Lucifer to let him in. He’d already made room in his home when he showed up here, but Poe had never been one of those alphas who wanted to just take, kriff he would happily put a lightsaber through those guys. But that was a confession for another day.
Though that question brought a soft smile to Poe’s face, he couldn’t quite help it, even now he felt lucky that he had wound up here somehow. “Oh no, but it’s more to do with the curls getting in the way more than anything.” It distracted Poe for the moment, surely it wouldn’t last long, Lucifer just deserved better than someone assuming they knew everything about him.
“...what I meant to say is...you don’t have to worry about me. I want you, yes, but if you want me to stay on this side of the room, get anything for you. I’ll do that instead.” Poe was a little afraid of going outside leaving Lucifer vulnerable like this though.
