she was right. some people would always be sinners; some would always be greedy. but some people would always be men and women of the gods. alfred was deeply religious, and being kicked off the council had been hard on his faith. but he was back now, and tommen was king. cersei hated him, but katerina seemed reasonable despite being the twin of a monster.

“yes, you are right,” he agreed, sitting down at the table and gesturing for her to sit as well. he wondered if it bothered her, for her to be denied the spot as queen and completely overlooked, just like myrcella. “may i ask who you are referring to?”

oscar let out an annoyed sigh. he was more than happy to help people if they were in imminent danger, but he was much more reluctant to help with small, useless tasks that could probably be completed without his help. “what do i get out of it?” he asked, looking the man in the eyes. bargaining wasn’t always his strong suit, since he wasn’t the most trustworthy person, but he could try his best.
