“Jesus Christ-! It’s... a child.” Exhale. “You scared me there for a second, kid.”

“So, what’s your plan here? I don’t like going into a fight without a game plan prepared.”

“You can’t just stay out here! The Elementals are dangerous, you could get yourself killed! GO!”

“Can’t say I understand what the problem is here, kid, but I bet if you got outta my way I could solve it pretty quickly.”

“Sorry-” Not sorry. “-but I have just about no idea as to who you actually are. Mind jogging my memory?”
@mvspelheim liked for a starter!:
“I can’t say that I know of any outer worlds such as Asgard or... any ‘heims’ back on my Earth, but I suspect that’s because no one has found them yet.” Of course he knows of Asgard, any person worth their salt knows that Thor is from Asgard and that by all intents and purposes, humans were Midgardians, but that didn’t mean that he knew of any of the other realms tied in with that lore. He wasn’t the type to study Norse mythology as a child. “I’d love to learn more about them, though.”

A hundred thousand words were running through his head, none of them exactly pleasant. It wasn’t that he didn’t like the woman in front of him, he didn’t even have enough time to know her personally, to make his own decisions on her character, but, what he did know was that she was not from this world. That she actually was from another Earth. And that threw a wrench into his plans immensely, and that set him on edge.
As if he’d show it while under the guise of Mysterio. Hand darts out for a handshake, a hero-to-hero greeting, both ‘from different worlds’, if the press was there, they’d probably have a field day. “Everyone’s calling me Mysterio, but you can call me Quentin. I shouldn’t be the one to welcome you to Earth-616, considering I’m not from here either, but I don’t think anyone else knows what Earth they’re on except us.” A smile crossed his face, some vein of light-hearted humor seemed to be Mysterio’s virtue.
@sensesdialed liked for a starter! (but gets 2 bc we’re indecisive):
“So, you made some of that tech yourself? Or, at least, the original versions of it. That’s... honestly really impressive, kid.” It was impressive. It was... scarily impressive. Quentin couldn’t remember how smart he was or what exactly he was doing at the other’s age (definitely not being some sort of superhero), but building tech certainly wasn’t it. He paused, thinking. “What got you into the whole ‘hero-ing’ business anyway, you are... awfully young for any world-saving pressure to be on your shoulders.”
