Swept out in violet flames, the last thing he felt was a beloved hand torn free. Not pressure. He was too far gone for that, too much to feel the unkindnesses of space, such as they were even for Asgardians after too long. A body that part longed for the flame of release toward loved ones, a soul that felt deathly claws and whispers pull at him, hissing revenge and claim.

Loki clung within the darkness, dwelling in the last vestiges of his magic, refusing to be taken one way or another, fearful and desperate not to let go. He did not hear the craft drawing up alongside him, but he sensed a familiar essence. One that was welcome. Something else drawing near, too. More foreboding, if less so than the monster who had caused this devastation.

The words were experienced rather than truly thought.

Save me. Forgive me.
