Enemies-One shot
That deep voice was enough to cross the line. "Come on baby!" This boy was asking for a punch to the throat. Madison Alamia was the most popular boy in school, jock...dancer...beyond beautiful. But his one flaw, was his personality. Madison was the boy who stood at the locker and catcalled to each girl as they walked by. Then I would pass and all I heard was, "Such a freak." These murmurs and calls would come from Madison's friends, but occasionally I would hear him call out "Nerd." Today I was not having it. "Listen here Mister 'I own this pathetic excuse of a Jersey high school', I am SICK and TIRED of hearing you make fun of me each day. I don't care if you think i'm a freak or a nerd, but let's give my self esteem a break and just keep it to ourselves!" I got straight into that boy's gorgeous face and made sure to emphasize everything. He was dumbfounded, and his friend's 'oo'ed. Later on that day, Bio came along. I had misjudged when to tell Mr. Alamia off, because now? I had to be his lab partner. For awhile we worked in silence, until Madison started trying to be nice. "I like your shoes." he mumbled, slowly slicing a bit of algae down for a microscope slide. I scowled to him. "Don't try and pretend like you like me. Please." I was growling it seemed, and Madison's face fell. "I'm not pretending you know." I cocked my eyebrow, looking at him like he just said the sky was red. "Yes you are you douchebag. You've been making fun and calling me names since we were four. I know you hate me, I sure as hell don't know what I ever did to you for that to happen, but I don't need this today!" "You want to know why I hate you so much? Because you're PERFECT." Our entire class froze in their place, as Madison Alamia used the term perfect to describe someone other than himself. The teacher shushed us, saying to finish our conversation in the hall, which is where the teen boy dragged me. "Perfect? You have got to be kidding me." "You are you bitch. You're beautiful, smart, funny...I've been in love with you since I was eight." This took me by surprise, and I dropped the scalpel I was still holding. Madison leaned forward a bit, making sure I felt his breath on my face. "I hate you, because I love you." That's when his lips devoured mine.
