I'm having so much fun with these ! Also its like the closest to an actual height line up of them? These guys are off model all the time when I'm doing comic stuff but you know /silly

i think a lot about charger and his pre-hush days. as much as i want to tangle him and flail him around the fact that he went from a friend to a tool is deeply saddening. gradual dehumanization is like one of the worst things to ever exist and i do wonder about the person charger couldve been if he hadnt been so close to king pin, or if he hadnt been part of the mountain gods at all. maybe he would've still wound up violent, maybe not.

i also like to think about an alternate path for charger where he left the mountain gods all by himself instead of forming hush and the vault finds him when they open their doors. they take him in like a wounded fight dog and he realizes he can be his own person instead of a punishment for those who disobey a higher power and lives a much happier/healthier life with the vault crew [i personally like to think he wouldve taken an interest in growing/gathering crops/herbs. he wouldnt be a medic because he doesnt really know anything about medicine but he would go on patrols with the medics to find helpful plants and such like mullein]

with that path in mind i do think about how he would react to bowling pin, especially since hes a spitting image of king pin and was pretty open about his former affiliation. in my brain he partially relapses into his past aggressive habits out of fear and instinct and when the vault crew confronts him about it and realizes he Needs to talk to bowling pin and clear things up he disappears for like a week. big guy isnt good at coping whatsoever [they doend up talking about things and maybe even bonded over leaving the mountain gods a little bit]

this is all just a "what if" and current charger would never let himself be soft probably.but its still fun to think about a charger who was able to move past it all and turn a new leaf. canon charger and vault charger remind me of the "when someone is so kind it sickens you" "when someone is so mean it inspires you to be kinder" meme

Out of characters with a redemption arc (even in more of a hypothetical what if situation) Charger is probably the last one to come to most people's minds so this is really interesting! Even being weaned off the violence from his old life he'd be more likely to butt heads with characters like Call of Greatness or start fights with suspicious loners, especially if he takes his "accompany the healers" role you have seriously. He might fullfill somewhat of a Benny role in being more likely to physically fight other vault members. But you really got me thinking about what it would be like if Charger had the chance to have softer side and could process his emotions in a healthier way
