T- 2 hours An Ariane V rocket is poised for liftoff from Europe’s spaceport in French Guiana, South America. The sixth Ariane flight of 2015 is scheduled to launch at 4:34 pm EST. VA-227 will loft ARABSAT-6B, designated BADR-7 once in orbit, for Saudi Arabia’s Arabsat, and GSAT-15 for the Indian Space Research Organization. Both satellites will provide telecommunications services for their operating companies, with ARABSAT-6B/BADR-7 operating at 26 degrees east longitude. GSAT-15 will be located at 93.5 degrees east. This is the 10th launch from the Koruou Space Port this calendar year, sixth flight of the Ariane V in 2015, and 83rd flight of an Ariane V vehicle.
